OOC Post Alright as the title suggests this thread is for learning abilities. It doesn't if people want to rp as a group or as an indivdual. Just let other know if you want to be alone or not. Mostly I just wanted a rp way to have Taru learn her ability/s.
The area is closer to the forest then to the village.
May add more if someone asks me too. (or for any other reason XD))

((IC from now on XD))
Taru looked around at the forest. She wasn't quite sure why she stopped here of all places, it looked boring. There was a bunch of trees in front of her and the village behind her. There certainly wasn't anyone around. She tapped her hoof on the ground and thought back to the cryptic dream. Her other self had said something about abilities!
That's it, she thought to herself, that's why I'm out here. I'll figure out to use the abilities I'm born with! Maybe it'll be something good, or even dangerous. In her mind she saw her self breathing fire. Taru laughed loudly at herself, how silly, she couldn't do that, what if she caught her hair on fire!
The female sat down to ponder. Okay, so it was mostly to hope that her ability would just come to her, so she wouldn't have to think to hard about it.

Taru's snores finally subsided once a small chipmunk crawled out of its hole. The pink head shook violently; she couldn't believe what she was hearing. No, there wasn't anyone around! So who said that?!
Her eyes darted around, trying to spot anyone, anything. Taru really didn't want to think she was hearing things; that wasn't something that was looked kindly upon - anywhere.
"Grass, why is it always grass? Chestnuts, now that would be better. Ooo, or pine nuts!" the voice was muttering softly.
Taru tilted her head and asked, "Grass?" Why would someone care about grass and mint? "Who's speaking?" She was looking around again for the owner of that squeaky voice, but the only think she could see was a small rodent about a foot away from her hooves. "Was that you?"
"Annoying big hooves always talking too much and too loud," said the disgruntled voice, "Why can't they speak softer?"
"Hey, I'm not yelling, and I do not have big hooves!" she retorted before realizing that it was in fact the chipmunk talking.
