I love Anastasia! I was so little when that movie came out....Rasputin scared the crap out of me.
My high school theatre director is putting on the stage play this year and I convinced her to watch the cartoon movie. She loved it! She liked it BETTER than the stage play because Anya wasn't so much some damsel in distress, she kinda helped herself.
Hooray feminism.

Elphabas Apprentice I do have to admit. This movie, though not Disney, Is really great. The songs in this movie are catchy and heartfelt, especially my favorite song, "Once Upon A December" DITTO! mrgreen

I did get the monologue! And it got me a lead in the school show! Yayeth!
My friend burned me the Anastasia soundtrack and i taped the movie off HBO

I love the animated version of Anastasia. I still remember doing ballet performances to the songs from the movie when it first came out and I was, like, three...I still love the songs, all these years later, too! mrgreen

That is one of my Top Fifty movies of all time. I sing random Anastasia songs all the time, 'Journey to the Past' and 'Once Upon a December' being the top two. The movie's got great songs, great animation...*dreamy face*
Then you go take World History and find out the movie's not real because the real Anastasia died. That was the day that my heart broke.

Ooh, I loove Anastasia! ^^ I loved it when I was a kid and I love it now, despite the historical inaccuracies. The music is absolutly A

Then you go take World History and find out the movie's not real because the real Anastasia died. That was the day that my heart broke. Yes, she was killed. And I haven't seen that movie in forever. back when it came out. I remember the zombie guy who kepts falling apart was cool. Years later I found out he was Rasputin... I need to rent that movie or something.
