I'm cheap and limited on time so I use boxed dyes.
I use Garnier hair dye because it leaves my hair not feeling brittle after.
What do you use?

I used to use Feria, but then I got lazy and no longer dye my hair. I am thinking about dying it black for shits and giggles.

I used Garnier the one time I dyed my hair.
Also now I kind of want to dye my hair again.

When I used to dye my hair, I tried Garnier but I probably didn't get a light enough shade because it made like no difference to my hair. I was trying to go from medium-dark brown to reddish brown.
Then I used Schwarzkopf live dark purple just for kicks and it actually turned my hair reddish brown, and in really bright light, slightly purple. I really liked that and stuck with it.
I've never noticed any problems with either those two brands. Though the Garnier did tend to come out in the shower for a week afterwards which I thought was excessive.

I use a professional Loreal color that I hand mix. I buy it at the beauty supply store. One of the intense reds line. They discontinued my box from Loreal so I went to the beauty supply store and figured it out myself. I also do my own highlights now too.

I just get whichever is the cheapest in the hair aisle of Wal-Mart.

before i went to a salon, i would use l'oreal preference.

I buy the cheapest. I got a 2/5 of l'oreal at Walgreens but i hate what it does to my hair. When I shower it feels really weird, like hay? but once i put in conditioner it's fine. And it lasts over a month. It's nearly unbearable when my hair is long. But I really want to not dye my hair and grow it out again.
