The woman moved her face back, the closeness distracting her and making her feel...Strange. Though she was now coming to realize why. But that wasn't an important matter right now. Once giving one side of Xero's face a few gentle slaps, he was released from his gentle prison. She still wasn't very thrilled with his little departure.

"From what?" was the reply as Prisca turned her back on him to pick up the necklace and shawl off the floor. Her tone was not as harsh as it had been earlier, though it still easily conveyed how unhappy she was with him. Looping the necklace around her arm, she shook out the shawl before placing it back over her shoulders. There was nowhere to put the necklace besides back around her neck. It was placed back on the floor. Only than did she turn her attention back to the man, one hand holding the fabric around her in place above her chest. Feet back on the floor, the Mewtwo craned her head too look up at the towering height of the other. "You should sit back down. You don't look too good."

"Honestly, Xero," she sighed, knowing full well what would come if she didn't cover it now. "If I felt safe or even wanted you out of my sight, I wouldn't have come all the way here. Unova isn't exactly a neighbor to Kanto. I'd rather be unsafe and have companionship than the other way."

Xero blinked as he was pat on the cheeks than released form Prisca's gentle face prison. ( As odd as that is to think about) He didn't move from the spot he was in until after a few moments when he slowly took Prisca's advice and returned to the floor. Survival was one of his top instinctual priorities. How could one choose not to be safe?

The confusion reflected mildly on his face. Tiredness overtook most of his expression, but most emotions he felt currently were very transparent.

"No, it is not."
He spoke after another moment, more to himself. His back leaned against the deformed metallic cylinder as he drew a deep breath. "I am sorry Ms. Prisca, I did not realize I was doing you more harm. It is, I do not understand-" He paused a moment to catch his breath. His eyes wondered around the room than returned to Prisca. "-why you are always putting yourself in danger."

He looked away again, this time letting his focus rest on the floor. "Perhaps it is something I should learn...."

Prisca was taken aback for a moment. For longer than she intended, she simply stared at the other Mewtwo. That was...Easier than she expected. What she was expecting was a mental war. And maybe even having to drag him back by the tail. Then again, he hadn't really said he'd go back. So she still may have to.

"Seriously?" she couldn't help herself from asking, before shaking her head and stepping to his side. Slip of the tongue, so startled was she with the quickness of his defeat. Knowing well enough how stubborn he could be. No arguing over what was safe and what wasn't. That was good. Sitting down besides him, she straightened the skirt over her legs before folding her hands in her lap and continuing.

Why she put herself in danger...Hm. That answer would depend on how much she wanted to reveal to him about the reason.

Prisca offered him a kind smile that touched her eyes. "Because I enjoy your company. No better reason than that. One little incident that didn't even feel like a normal Mewtwo reaction isn't enough to change my opinion. Not your fault for how your DNA is. You shouldn't let it control how you live. Or are you going to tell me you actually enjoy living in isolation?"

Xero took no notice of Prisca's stare. His head hung enough so that his scruffy chin nearly touched the top of his chest. When she spoke he moved his head just slightly so he could look at her. He had nearly fallen asleep in the silence. Instinct was an odd thing. He no longer felt threatened and had now moved to what he needed most next, rest. This was also to explain his lack of enthusiasm for his explanation to his action.

It was very true, he had not mentioned anything about returning to Hoen with Prisca, and he was still sure he did not wish to. Or at least, put her in danger by being there.

Xero scooted further up the warped cylinder so he was sitting with a straight posture, his focus shifted to forward where some of the skeletons stared mournfully back. "I had told you before that I enjoy your company, but I would rather be isolated than to be driven to destroy you again...." After a short pause Xero added. "But, even that seems to have done damage still."

It seemed a double edged sword. If he went back there was a chance of that dreadful event happening again, but if he remained away it seemed to cause the same damage. Perhaps Mewtwo were created unknowingly to desire kinship? And that was part of the survival? It made some sense to him that way, though there was still that drive to be the strongest and beat any being who seemed formidable. Her creation may have cause a different outcome in instinct?

His thoughts caused him to go very silent as he thought over what to do next. Stay here or go back?

The woman settled down on her butt at his side, folding her legs to one side and leaning against him for support. More for his than her own. She faced straight ahead, letting her eyes wander around the room without turning her head.

"So don't run away," was the simple response. "I'm sure there are...Ways of getting around that side. Whatever was going on that day wasn't all you. And a person is always in danger. You're not like that all the time. Just the fact you chose to be miserable instead of put me in more danger shows that." Turning her head to look at him, Prisca placed one hand on his arm. "You should sleep first."

Considering how easy he had proved to get to understand her side, she didn't feel as much of a desire to keep going on with the subject. She could see the gears turning. Rest would help him think.

"But you should come back. Not really for me. You're not the monster they wanted anymore."

There were no points yet that Prisca had brought up that Xero would have been able to argue properly. It was true, though something that he was not used to. He did not wish to put her in harm of his own rage, but he also did not wish to cause further harm by being away. This was the first time in his life that he felt so conflicted.

He gave Prisca a side glance as she placed her hand on his arm than focused forward again.

Rest was on his mind, but he was not sure if Prisca remaining here with him was appropriate. The fact she was there filled a hole that had been there for the past two months and he did not like to loose it. However, he did not wish for her to stay in such a place.

"I will rest here and return when I have the strength." His tired gaze locked on the skeleton with the glass shards protruding from the skill. "But you should return if you can."

"Good," Prisca answered quickly, shooting him a wide and satisfied grin. Not just happy over the fact he would return. More happy that it hadn't been a very difficult task to convince him to return.

Without realizing what she had done, she found herself on her feet, smoothing out the dress of the dirt. She blinked a few times, not even remembering moving in her joy of just a few seconds ago. She hadn't meant to oblige him that quickly. The woman wasn't that eager to get out of his presence. Not after going two months of not feeling the familiar and comforting presence in the back of her mind.

Settling the shawl on her shoulders against the chill of being underwater, Prisca turned her head carelessly to the skeleton, hard to miss against the wall behind it. Almost eerie how clean it was, even if it was there for over a century.

The sound of her heels clicked as she moved to stand in front of Xero, her head turning back around as she did so. "I will leave the cave," she agreed. "But..." And she raised a finger like one would scold a child," I am staying in Kanto until you can leave." Bending down to pick up the necklace at her feet, she placed it back around her neck for safekeeping. She would have need of it later and didn't want to lose it. "Not simply for you. Might as well sight see while I'm here. It has been years..."

The room went silent while the woman resided into her memories. It didn't last very long before she stepped back up to him, lifted his chin with one finger, and gave him a gentle kiss before disappearing into thin air.
