History: Tobeko was always a very bright and invintive little pidge when he was young. He would always litter his bed space with his "inventions" and was sure when he grew up he would be able to take his role as a great inventer. His creations were ingenious, like a whirlygig to help wounded pidge fly (short distances if the stretchy band was twisted, to an updated inflatable version that worked, but landing was rough and it could only be used once.), to a food grinder made from rough paper [sandpaper] to make sweet paste [frosting]. Tobe's future was bright but one day his life changes in a flash because of a terrible accident.
It was another nice autumn day and Tobe was out testing his newest invention, a booby trap to catch any of the no winged furry monsters [Rats] that liked to steal from the food supplies. Just as he was testing it the gadget jammed and the little dummy pidge he was using didn't move. Confused and determined to see what the problem was, he climbed into the main part of the contraption to have a look. Unfortunately just then the trap unjammed and snapped, slinging Tobe into the stained glass window of the church with extreme force. He didn't wake up for days and when he did he wasn't the same pidge he was before.
The accident left him with a bad stutter and an inability to form complex thought, his spine was also damaged so he hobbles. He was still very smart, but could no longer utilize this intelligence very well. No longer able to create grand inventions he was left to become a Nanny, only able to make small trinkets to calm the babies down. None of them were as great as the things he once created and meant only to last until the young fell asleep or were placated.
Personality: Tobe is very kind and can be a little forgetful or hard to understand when he has trouble speaking. He will always help out another pidge in need but can be unable to focus on the direct problem and it might take him a moment to notice the problem. He loves interacting with others but feels very awkward because of his stutter.
Tobe still collects things and his most prized collection is a bunch of marble he's collected since before his accident. They are very important to him and if one is missing or in peril he will focus intently on finding or saving the marble until he has done it. The loss of one of his marbles makes him very melancholy for a time.
Skills: able to invent things occasionally though most of the time only for babies or temporary fixes/ can be very smart and solve problems/ has a way with calming down screaming babies and is very good with children.
