As the title says: I need advice. Here's the problem:

I'm not sure how to climb out of the hell that is just a friend... I know how people gripe about how they can't get into relationships but it's hard not to when there's relationships happening around you (and some you help start when you yourself like that person too.)

I'm sweet, friendly, and open-minded even though I can be subconciously insensitive and moody from time to time. I can be friends with just about anybody but nothing more. Like the other day, my best friend and I were at her house talking and she brought up the name of the girl liked since I was in high school. And like every friend, I told her what to do to win her heart. So now they're dating and I'm left in the corner waiting for some other person to pretend to show interest then reveal that they were using me because they were in a fight with their ex.

My online relationship status follows the same tune. T.T

Am I too nice? Too naïve? What should I do to get into a relationship (in real life/online)?
