Back Story 1:
Takito
The pack was violent, so much so that even the pups were starting to go wild. Each new litter brought more strife and irritation to all in the pack. It seemed that the food was not lasting, and more often than not the pack leader was sending the younger wolves into the human lands.
The she wolf that had last bore a litter was young and she wanted to get back to her hunting right away, but it seemed that one of her pups was just not growing as fast and as strong as the others. She would have liked nothing more than to just be done with it, but too much time and effort had already been put into rearing this one. The only sane thing to do would be to let him loose, warn him away from the pack, and that was what she had done.
His name was Takito. The ruddy furred male had never really liked the pack anyway, something about it just made him feel wrong inside. They fought at the slightest reason, and were not willing to talk to him about things he wanted to learn. He was strange and just didn't belong with them, so it was with more relief than upset that he broke away and headed off on his own. There were problems of course, hunting was a big one for him. He didn't like killing and there was not a lot of fresh meat to scavenge.
Then there was the way he saw the world. He looked strange, even to his own eyes, and had been made fun of because of the faint wing patterns that marked his sides. It wasn't that he didn't like them, in fact he did very much like that they were there, he just didn't like them being all that others saw about him. In his mind they were a promise that he would be more than a violent killer. He would help others, he would right the wrongs his old pack had done, and he would stand up for the weak... if he could live long enough.
