Got any good recipes or ideas for a mixed drink? Post them here.

I'll start off with some of my pride and joys:

The Tank Engine
- 2 shots Dragonberry Bacardi
- Cranberry juice

Shake and pour over ice, served tall.

The Tropical Orgasm
- 2 shots coconut rum
- Pineapple juice
- Mango syrup

Shake and pour over ice, served tall.

Strawberry Fields
- 2 shots strawberry vodka
- Ginger ale

Shake vodka and pour over ice, add ginger ale, served tall.

Strawberry/ Raspberry Limeade
- 2 shots strawberry or raspberry vodka (your choice)
- Lemonade
- Lime juice

Shake vodka and lemonade, pour over ice, add lime juice, served tall.

*I am in no way encouraging underage people to try these drinks. Please drink responsibly. :]

I had nothing creative to add. I've always been pretty straight and forward about my mixed drinks. Gin and Tonic. Rum or Whiskey with cola. The only drink I make that requires any particular effort is a specialized bloody mary. Alcohol of choice to taste (preferably rum), spicy bloody mary mix, touch of hot sauce, touch of worcester sauce, a sprinkling of celery salt, some ice, and a spring of celery to mix it and give it some color and added texture as the celery breaks down.

There's a restaurant in South Carolina where you can make your own Bloody Mary. It's pretty cool.

white russian. (cocktail)
1 shot of vodka
1/2 shot of Kahlua
1/2 shot of cream
Pour the vodka and Kahlua into glass. filled with ice. Stir. Gently top with the cream. Personally I just mix them all together. XD
**Note**
If you dont have cream you can use milk or Half &Half. If you use Baileys Irish Cream, vanilla soymilk,and etc. the name changes. There are a couple that i know, Blind Russian which uses Bailey Irish cream. The White American which uses whiskey instead of vodka. The White Mafia made with Frangelico instead of Kahlua. Lol I'm going out on a limb and saying Soy Russian which uses soymilk instead of cream. xD

Without the cream its called Black russian.

I like them. Putting more milk/cream in the drink. The more it will taste like a spiked coffee latte.

I have a few favorites, none of my own making, but I order them whenever I go out. LoL

Grey Goose with a Pineapple Back
Is exactly what it sounds like and fairly common.
Shots of chilled Grey Goose Vodka chased with pineapple juice. Yum!

Lava Flow
1 ounces light rum
2 ounces pineapple juice
6 ounces pina colada mix (coconut cream and pineapple juice)
1 ounce strawberry puree

Blend rum, pineapple juice, and pina colada mix with 1 cup of ice. Next, take a glass and coat the inside with strawberry puree. Pour in colada blend. Finally, use a spoon to drag the strawberry puree up through the colada drink, creating a pink stripe.
(I love these so much! If I happen to pull the short straw to become DD, I'll order these 'virgin'. <3)

Pink Panties
1 package frozen pink lemonade concentrate
1 cup Canadian Mist whiskey
1 cup water
1/2 container whipped cream

Combine all ingredients in a blender with half a cup of crushed ice. Blend until smooth.
(It's exactly like a tart smoothie that smacks you in the face and wakes you up.)

Squashed Frog (Shooter)
15 ml Midori melon liqueur
10 ml advocaat liqueur
10 ml Bailey's Irish cream
2 dashes grenadine syrup

Pour Midori then Advocaat in glass. Add a few dashes of grenadine and then float Bailey's on top.
(This one is kinda sweet, but very tasty!)

The Dashing Prince (Katamari Damacy Shot)

Ingredients:
(recipe makes 6 shots)
1 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Grenadine
2 oz Vodka
2 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Fresh lemon juice
6 Maraschino cherries with stems

Directions: Mix the Blue Curacao and grenadine and divide into the bottom of 6 shot glasses. Pour vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, and lemon juice in a shaker and shake to combine. Carefully layer the green on top of the purple, and garnish the edge of each shot glass with a maraschino cherry.

To take the shot remove the cherry from the edge and down it, and then eat the cherry afterwards. The result is a shot that’s sweet, quirky, and even a little fruity that’s best enjoyed with all your friends, just like Katamari Damacy.

Guaranteed not to roll up your insides once ingested!
(I recently found this on IHC and haven't tried it yet, but it sounds pretty good.)
