StoryA long time ago, a prophecy revealed that the kingdom would eventually be overcome by a great evil. That evil, has finally arisen and threatens to destroy the entire land Long ago the evil necromancer Nithlus came to power and had used his powers to create chaos and usher death to the land. With his summoned army of undead, orcs, and trolls, He created a great army and marched onto the capital of the great Kingdom. However, meeting up with the cursed army was the Kingdom's army, lead by none other than the king himself accompanied by the headmaster of the council of priests. A great battle took place: each side was fighting for dominance over the land. While the king was fighting off several evil creatures, Nithlus created a dark energy and shot it at the King. It would have destroyed the King if not for the headmaster priest to deflect it. A great battle had arisen during a bigger battle between Nithlus and the head priest. In the end, Nithlus was destroyed by the priest, who used the power of the sun itself to win the battle. At once, the army decimated, the king's forces cheering in victory. The King honored the head priest by inviting him to become a sired knight, the highest honor anyone could receive in the kingdom. Little did anyone know, that Nithlus was not actually destroyed. Although his physical body decimated, his soul was still intact and just waiting to come back to the physical world. It is current day, and rumors have emerged of evil creatures roaming the land searching for their despicable master. It is said that the soul of Nithlus would summon its body from oblivion on the day of the solar eclipse. If he is allowed to do so, he will become unstoppable and surely put an end to the kingdom. Thankfully, the descendant of the great priest exists, and has seen her/his ancestor in a vision. It was revealed to her/him that she/he was the only one capable of defeating Nithlus once and for all. When the new king was confronted with the news, he rejected the descendant and the vision, claiming that these were foolish lies in order to gain power. Without help from the foolish King, the descendant could not gain the aid of the king's army. However, the court of priests decided to help and pool together their resources to hire a merc enary to serve as a body guard for the descendant. The descendant is currently on her/his way towards the hiring agency, where the Mercenary awaits the client.

Profiles:Name- Saria Illiara Age- Eighteen Picture- This is me.Brief History- Descendant from the great Headmaster Priest known for having destoryed Nithlus many years ago. Though the peace has begun to vanish from the kingdom once more Saria has begun seeing visions of the return of Nithlus. Requesting the assistance from the king that she use his army to stop Nithlus once and for all was denyed her, the foolish and stubborn king unwilling to believe Saria and her visions. The fellow priests that have trained her are now pulling together their only resources to help hire a body guard to help her on this quest. Abilities- Saria is skilled in the arts of psychic and water control. Using both energies she can create an ethreal bow. Saria is truly unaware of just what other abilities lie in wait for her to discover. Name: Rizzo Age: 19 Picture: You found meHistory: Rizzo was born in the hills of the northern part of the kingdom. Both of his parents were trained in the art of weaponry, and they would pass that art to their son. His entire life he was trained for one purpose: To be the best warrior he could be. Ever since he was 8, Rizzo would travel with his parents around the kingdom in search of work, which usually consisted of swordsmanship competitions or even mercenary work. When Rizzo was 12, he and his parents were hired into a group that were to assault a noble's mansion. When the entire group got there, the noble had an ambush set up. Almost the entire group died, and Rizzo's father was badly wounded. His mother took them both to the fringes of the battle and escaped. His father died later that evening from excessive blood loss. Maddened by grief, Rizzo's mother sent him back to the mercenary station to inform the employer that the mission was successful. The mother then charged into the noble's home at night, killing dozens of guards and, with her last breath, the noble himself. Rizzo was eventually taken in by the owner of the mercenary hiring station. Seven years later, a bunch of priests came and asked for the best mercenary that was available, which happened to be Rizzo.

I t was a stormy day. In a village not far away from the Royal capital, there were people scampering all over the place. This particular village flourishes due to its popularity as a mercenary center of business. On top of a hill overlooking the village lied a small house-like building which was the Hiring Agency.
Rizzo sat on the banister of the porch, awaiting his latest assignment. With a small pouch of gold lying next to him from his last completed contract, he sat in silence polishing his sword. Taking a cloth and holding it out in the rain for a bit to get it damp, he then took the cloth and started rubbing dried up blood from the blade of his weapon. He took great care to polish it up after every contract. His father used to say that a clean blade gave the appearance of a disciplined father. Rizzo was apparently recommended by the owner of the hiring agency to escort some sort of priest. He said that he would receive details once he met up with his employer

Pale eyelids opened slowly to reveal tranquil raven colored eyes. Saria's breathing was slow, even as she surveyed the room around her, slowly returning back to the world around her. Stretching her stiff arms and legs she glanced towards the window in her room, the sun hidden behind dark clouds in the sky, rain pouring down from above tapping a steady rythem. She had meditated for about two hours, unable to sleep much lately thanks to the visions that began occuring more often now. Rising to her feet she grabbed the bag of belongings she had packed the night before after the priests informed her of the mercenary they had hired for her protection. She was unsure how a hired body guard would help her accomplish the slaying of Nithlus anymore than the king's army, but she accepted the support from the priests anyways and agreed to go meet with this person.
Slinging a black cloak over her slender body she pulled the hood to rest upon her raven hair. Slinging the pack over her shoulder she walked towards the stables. Tayos, a stable boy saw her approaching and began the simple task of saddling Saria's grey mare, finishing the job just as she walked up to him. "Thank you Tayos." Saria graced him a gentle smile and the boy gave a slight bow before handing her the leather reins. Mounting the mare she lightly kicked sending the horse forward. It was a small ride, the village not far from them at all.
Upon arrival Saria dismounted in front of the hiring agency, her eyes going towards the figure upon the porch banister, where was concentrating on the task of polishing his sword. Holding tight to the leather reins she called out lightly, "Would you happen to know who was recently hired to help protect a priest?" Her cloak was fairly soaked now from the rain and even her mare snorted in protest and pawed lightly at the wet soil
(OoC- Hey sorry about the delay in responding, I have been out of sorts lately. Hopefully this response is alright haha. Also, until I have a better computer my posts aren't going to look much prettier then this.)

Rizzo looked up at the speaker to get a good a glimpse as he could at his employer. With dark hair and pale skin, it was easy to see that she would be a priest. After all, most priests in the kingdom usually have paler skin, be it due to genetics or being indoors at most times.
Rizzo responded in his usual flat, emotionless tone. "The person you are looking for is me. My name is Rizzo and I will be the man to guide you to your destination."
Rizzo sheathed his weapons and hopped to his feet, leaving the now blood stained cloth on the banister. He then walked out into the rain, stopping just after the steps. Letting out a loud whistle between his teeth, a dirt-brown pinto horse galloped out and stopped right in front of Rizzo.
Rizzo smoothly jumped on the bare-backed horse, reaching down to grab the reins. "If we have time, I would recommend we stop in the village before we go to gather the necessary supplies."

"Oh, I see. My name is Saria." She responded lightly. Glad to have found the hired man so quickly she watched as he stood from the porch and give a loud whistle for his horse. Saria was fairly impressed at how well trained the creature was, glancing sideways at her own horse she wondered if it would ever be capable of learning such a trick.
Shaking the thought from her mind she mounted the horse and turned in the direction Rizzo was. For someone who was hired to help he already seemed to have a idea of what was needed to be done. A little impressed she nodded, the priests had mentioned they had hired the best mercenary of this village they could find, which gave her some comfort. Did Saria trust this emotionless man? Not in the slightest, but he had been paid, he would do as his job required and so long as she was protected then things would go well. Once she slayed Nithlus (when she managed to figure out how to do such a thing) and the peace is restored to the kingdom, then they would both just go their seperate ways in life.
"Alright, let us hurry then. I would like to be out of this rain soon if you wouldn't mind." She did not like the idea of getting sick before this journey barely begun.

Rizzo nodded at the lady obediently. One could tell straight off the bat the Rizzo was the type to follow orders. After all, he was paid good money for this job. "Of course ma'am. Right away."
Rizzo took the lead and ushered Saria to follow. Allowing his horse to gallop in a swift but not rushed, he only asked one question the entire way down: "Ma'am, I was told to not ask any questions, but if I may: are you expecting any trouble reaching your destination or am I a precautionary measure? I only ask so I can better act as your protector."
When they both got to the village, Rizzo led them both to a stable. Motioning to the stable boy Saria saw earlier to open the door, the boy ran to help them both. There was a look of fear in Tayos's eyes when he saw Rizzo. When the stable was open, Rizzo ignored the boy and led both horses inside, dismounting and putting his his horse away in one of the pens.
"We should head to the tavern. There we can get a bite to eat, and it is near many shops where I get my supplies.

Saria followed behind the body guard, the pace that was set would help them reach their destination in a reasonable time, and the sooner the better.
Saria glanced at him at his question, even though he was not supposed to ask it was a good question, and she didn't think it fair to withhold such an answer. "To be honest it would be wise to expect anything. You are hired as a precautionary measure, but I expect this journey to be very troublesome." Her eyes looked troubled at this confession and although her ancestors vision to her did say that she would be the one to completely destroy Nithlus, she felt unprepared for the road ahead, wishing she had more time.
She handed the leather reins to Tayos, noticing his nervous expression she gave him a small smile before following Rizzo. "Alright, sounds like a good idea to me." Her stomach had grumbled slightly before she had responded and had to admit that food sounded really good at the moment.
