History
xoxo The younger of the King brothers is to night as the older is to day. Not only are their looks completely opposite, but so are they’re positions in life. Being born into a wealthy family, young Ray has always attended the best child care facilities. Unlike his unruly brother, Ray has always had an oddly high IQ. Not of one of a genius, but one to definitely give notice. Because of this, he has easily taken over his older brothers role of bringing fame to the family. Still young and not understanding the stress between him and his brother, Ray has accepted the fact that his brother and parent’s don’t get along. His parent’s other reason for moving the boys out to this island were so that they could raise Ray in a less corrupted society.
xoxo Because of his brother’s sharp tongue and aggressive attitude, Ray has taken on a quieter demeanor. He is quite competent in his speaking skills for his age, but finds it tedious when his brother is the one who seems to talk for the two of them. Because of this Ray is often labeled as “shy”, when really he is just not in the mood to make a remark. Like June, the younger brother has an incredibly high sense of justice. But, he is unable to do anything about things he thinks are wrong because of his small stature. He is usually the target of the rougher kids, including his older brother. He is easily picked on not only because of his size, but also because of his inability to see well. Ray is constantly bumping into glass doors and the like. Because he is usually mistreated, he is usually wary of new people.
xoxo In terms of likes and dislikes, the King siblings are also quite opposite. While his more energetic brother prefers a calmer, more intellectual hobby, the more docile brother enjoys a more dominant interest. Ever since watching June fiddle with his bike, Ray has become completely fixated with mechanical objects. Often sneaking into the garage to play with tools, or trying to dismantle things in his room, the boy is constantly learning about the structures of such objects. One of his most prominent reasons to do so is a certain obsession with being useful to his older brother. Ray is often scene with a small multi-tool that June had “bought” him.
