Bite: In a new place such as this, all he had found thus far were more things to agitate himself. His tail was scored with fang marks from his anxiety created chewing. His ear's ached and burned from the nervouse scratching that had caused the skin behind them to bleed. Bite had found himself a ...well it looked like it had been a closet at one time. He had curled within it so that he could try and sleep, but his dreams were dark and frightened and he'd awoken whimpering and clawing at his shoulders.

Ambala: As Ambala began to walk down a straight hallway, she allowed her mind to drift as she looked around. This new place was so different, that she just didn't see how she could ever like it here. All the people here seemed to be so different then what her old home was like. The only thing that wasn't different was that bite was here, or somewhere in here. Though lately she hadn't seen him at all. Maybe he had found new friends she thought quietly as she let out a heavy sigh. "Why do I even care," she thought out loud,"I should be worrying about training and not about some guy..." She suddenly was cut off as her ears were alerted to a noise. So she stopped and leaned against a wall wondering what she just heard.

Bite: He looked miserably at his fingernails and pulled some bits of skin out from under them. His arms rolled, flexing the scratched flesh. He felt...well. He felt gross. That was it. he wanted a bath with the clean smelling antibacteria soaps from his old him. Carefully Bite peeked out from his closet and peered up and down the hall. As his cracked horned head glanced up the hall, a rather familiar flash of green and pink caught his eyes. Bite's gaze swept over Ambala before he jerked his head back into the closet. had she seen him? Had she? His eyes darted about the small confined space. Crap!

Ambala: At first she just stood there against the hard wall and listened. She heard nothing, but then her head quickly turned to a door ahead of her. Her trained senses were telling her that something was in there, or someone. So she followed her first instinct and began to slowly walk towards the door. She hadn't really seen anything but her senses had never failed her before. So why shouldn't she trust them she thought? It only took her a few minutes before she stood in front of the door, "i wonder if I should..." she said out loud pondering if she should open it or not. Since who knew what lie inside...

Bite: *With a wince he lightly banged his head against the side of the stone wall. Well..there was no denying that Ambala had seen him. He suspected she was just hovering out there debating whether or not to leave. Bite looked at his chewed on tail and pushe dit back behind him. Carefully he crept to the doorway and peered out. A low uneasy growl rumbled in his throat.

Ambala: *shaking her head she began to turn around* It probably wasn't even worth her time, She thought as she was just about to walk away from the door. Until her hunting senses caught wind of something. They told her to turn around, and so she did and when she turned. She saw two eyes peering from the door. Those eyes she thought, where had she seen them before...then it hit her. "Bite!" she said with a happy voice and a shocked look on her face. She wasted no time at all in reaching towards the door to open it wider.

Bite: He wanted to chase her away...but... he was so lost. he felt so utterly angry and abandoned and scared. As Ambala pushed the door open to peer inside, he felt ashamed for cowering the way he was. He fought to keep the tears out of his eyes as he curled his tail behind him and tried not to break down and act as crazy as he felt this place was driving him. "You...your here..." Well of course she was! he had seen her when they had both been dropped off. Bite looked up at her, and noted with a strange pang of jealousy that she looked rather fine.

Ambala: As she opened the door she saw the one person she had been looking for all this time. Happy tears began to come out of her eyes as she did the first thing she could think of. She bend down and wrapped her arms around him. As she hugged him she could feel he was probably feeling as lost as she was. She couldn't blame him, this place was crazy nothing like home. "Of course I'm here, and I was starting to really miss seeing you," she admitted not even realizing what she had just said. Why on earth was she acting this way she thought in her mind quietly, only to push the thought away. Realizing she didn't care right now, all she cared about was seeing Bite was safe.

Bite: The hug was unexpected...and it just broke something in the houndoom. Bite wrapped his arms around Ambala tightly and he forced his face into her shoulder so the tears that flowed from his eyes could be hidden. He began to shake and felt so ill. He knew that, while this place was frightening, the real thing he had been hiding from had been her. He just could not take these confuseing emotions anymore. The fact that there was no one here telling him what he had to do had not occured to him. So now he clung to Ambala as tightly as his shaking arms could. His head shook back and forth and a low whine vibrated in his throat. "I want to go home." He whimpered softly.

Ambala:As bite hugged her back something inside her began to feel something. Her heart was beginning to grow a little brighter, as she tried to best to smile as she hung onto him tightly. So this place was making him hurt she realized, and with that anger built up in her mind a bit. She had worked so hard to stop him from getting hurt, but yet he still was hurting. "I do too, but at the same time I don't," she whispered,"I don't want to hurt you anymore, and because of that I ended up getting us here. I'm sorry..." with those last words she finally broke and tried to use her left hand to wipe away her tears that flooded her face. She was supposed to be strong, but right now she felt so weak.

Bite: He should have been thinking sensibly. Here in this place they were not locked in single rooms. No one was telling them what they could and could not do. Here he had been able to sleep as long as he wanted, move when he wanted, and if he had found the food he could have eaten whenever he wanted. Bite gently tilted his head a bit to rest it against Ambala's neck. His tears had come in a hot quick flood, but they were drying up now. He felt a odd sense of peace that he still could not explain fully. "There is something wrong with this place." He would murmur after a moment. "It smells wrong. I hear things all the time. I feel  like I'm being hunted but I can't detect who or what." Without Bite's realizing it, he tilted his head to gently bite onto Ambala's shoulder. Just as he had chewed on his own tail to relieve the anxiety he suffered, he started to chew lightly on her.

Ambala: Trying with all her might she had finally stopped the tears from flooding down her face. All these emotions were running through her and she had no idea why. While she hated this place just as much at least she didn't have to hurt him. She could finally be close to him and not have to fight him. Just like when they were kids, they were finally safe in each others company. It was almost like a dream come true to her. As she felt him against her neck, she felt almost alright. Atleast he was here she thought. " I agree there is something wrong here but now that I found you. I promise nothing with hurt you as long as I'm near," she said trying to put on the best face she could. She then felt him bite onto her shoulder and laughed a little, " you sure still do love to bite..." with that she leaned her face into his left shoulder, almost seeming as if she were trying to wipe her eyes and regain her composer.
Bite: Ambala's reassurances made him feel horrible. Like he was the weak one...but he always had been hadn't he? That was why she had always been the one to beat him in the past. Why he was the one wearing the worst wounds. Yet... for once in his life Bite did not feel the agitation that usually came with such thoughts. He felt Ambala rubbing against him and he blinked his eyes a little. He glanced down to where he had been gently gnawing on her anf felt his cheeks warming. "Promise." He whispered softly. She promised him? Bites tail flopped once and he resumed gently nomming on her with a single tear clinging to the corner of his eye. "I can't stop. If I don't chew I get a sick feeling and shake." He tried to explain to Ambala in a tight shamed voice.

Ambala: She looked up a little from leaning into his shoulder and saw his face seemed to look a little warmer. The fact that it looked warm made her a bit worried. Was he getting sick she thought quietly to herself. "Are you okay?" she questioned with concern in her voice,” your face looks a little warm..." She looked at his face once more before gently whispered back, “I promise, Bite." As she finished speaking she then nuzzled his shoulder kindly. She was so happy he hadn't pushed her away again, like he used too. In fact she was so happy she was starting to forget about the slight pain of him biting her shoulder. "Oh okay well then you bite all you need to. I can handle it," she said as she resumed her face leaning on him. Why she was leaning on him she didn't know, but she knew that when she did lean on him. She felt like for once someone had her back and that she was finally safe with someone.

Bite: His head gave a small shake when Ambala would notice  the foolish blush that had stained his cheeks. It was stupid of him to react like that, but he couldn't stop it anymore then he could stop the desire to chew on something. "I am fine." He mumbled softly. He was calming down now, but he was not going to let himself embaress himself anymore then he already had. He should have just focused on how relieved he was to have her again. No more fighting. He silently promised himself. He wasn't going to fight with her anymore. There was no one here that could make him. Bite licked his lips a little and made a conscious effort to stop chewing on Ambala, as he did not want to accidentally break the skin and have her wounded the way his tail was. "I..will stop. I'm fine now. Fine..really." He whispered softly. Bite shifted his position on the floor so he could attempt to pull Ambala into his lap. He needed to hold her more tightly. The urge to completely wrap around her was just overwhelming!

Ambala: Well he said he was alright but still then why was his face so red she thought to herself. Maybe it was just a guy thing, she decided with a little laugh as she felt him take his teeth away from her shoulder. Wincing slightly she dung her head gently deeper into his shoulder. “Well if you’re sure… though feel free to bite me anytime you need to,” Ambala said kindly to him with her face still in his shoulder not looking up. As she said that she realized she’d never been this nice to anyone before. She was always so rough and always cold to everyone she had ever talked too. That was how ‘they’ had trained or really forced her to be. Though with Bite she never wanted or could be that way with him. What made him so different from everyone else? So different that she never wanted to see him upset or unhappy even just for a minute. Was this the thing she had read of in fairytales…but it couldn’t be … could it? With her head high in thoughts she shut off her trained senses and didn’t even feel him change his position on the floor.

Bite: His heart was no longer racing, and Bite no longer felt that horrible feeling he was going to push or bite at her. He wanted to stay calm. He wanted to stay close. He just wanted so much and he could not be certain exactly what it was he was waiting to obtain from her. Bite waited a moment, then leaned back against the wall. he tugged insistantly on Ambala, so he could cradle her in his arms. His bitten tail gave a weak little thump on the floor. Words seemed to escape him right now. Maybe he just needed the peace and quiet? His head had been filled with so many thoughts lately, and a lot of them had been ugly. He had been positive he'd been followed, even when he was hiding in this closet he was so sure there were eyes staring down on him. He wanted to hide himself under Ambala's wings. So that some of that peace would remain a bit longer. With a soft whine, he nudged his forehead against her. "YOur staying here now?" He finally asked. "Your not going to go away...we don't have to fight?"

Ambala: As she felt Bite tug at her, she just let him pull her closer into him. A smile appeared slightly on her face when she was even closer to him. She was happy for some odd reason, just to be this close to him and everything be so … peaceful. She listened to his tail thump and began to think once more. Life seemed to finally be taking the right turn for her. For when he pulled her she didn’t have any feeling of being afraid, like she used to back at their old home. She used to be worried about what someone might do to her, but with him here she wasn’t even a bit frightened. Her mind was calm, something never in life did she think it would ever be. Between the fighting and the hurting her mind was always full of pain, until now. She was quickly dragged out of her thoughts as bite nudged his forehead against hers and she nudged back giggling a little. “I sure am,” she answered with nodded, “An No I’m not leaving ever, and ya we never have to fight each other again…” With those final words she laid her head in his lap and looked up at him. Part of her felt like she had finally; found her knight in shining armor the one she always dreamed of … but it couldn’t be him could it…?

Bite: Hearing Ambalas words of assurance caused him to relax a bit against the wall. Bite closed his eyes for a moment and thumped his tail against the floor again. He supposed that he ought to think about a bit more. Like..what they were going to do now...but he couldn't focus past curling up in the closet with Ambala. He looked at her, as she got herself comfortable as well. Carefully he reached a hand out to touch her hair. He paused though while looking at Ambala.Should he tell her about the weird thoughts he had been having? "Ambala..." He murmured softly, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Is it my fault we're here?"

Ambala: As she laid there she listened to Bite’s words carefully and quickly answered softly. “No it’s mine. I wouldn’t do want they wanted so they threw us both out…” She didn’t mean for those words to come out harshly if they did, but more certain than anything. What she had said was true in her mind and she wasn’t about to let him try to blame himself. After all it was her fault, she could have changed their fate by hurting him more but inside she knew she couldn’t have done that. He was the only person who had ever protected her before, when he jumped in front of her that day. Something inside her changed, something inside her began to care about him more than she had ever had before. Why she didn’t know, but she was sure it would stay there for the rest of their days. “Though why do you ask?” she asked calmly snuggling a bit in his lap.

Bite: Having Ambala so comfortable and close was odd. Particularly since there was no one present to chase them away with some sort of test or schedual. Bite shook his head slightly as he listened to Ambala answer him. Her fault? Bite's eyes drooped a little bit. "They got mad at me too. I would not do what they said after the...well the last time." He whispered with a small frown. So then..they had both refused to obey? He probably should have not been too surprised. They both did end up put inhere. If one or the other had obayed then only one of them would be there. Bite moved his hand very slowly over Ambala's hair as he eyed the broken door. "So... we will stay here? In my closet? We're going to need something for you to sleep on. I'm fine on the floor."

Ambala: Bite had refused too? She was in complete shock. She had never even considered, that maybe they were asking him to hurt her too. So they really were going to put him up against her even if he was hurt. How cruel those people were, she thought as she tried to shake the thoughts of her having to fight him that came to her mind. "Thank you ..." she whispered being happy in her head that he had refused too. It was then she felt his hand move through her hair and she smiled for real for the first time in awhile. "I like that idea if your okay with it? since I don't really want to be out there alone," she admitted shyly before continuing, "To be honest I don't mind the floor that much either." Part of the reason she really didn't mind the floor was because then she could be closer to him but she wasn't about to say that aloud.

Bite: Having Ambala being content with sleeping on the floor was a vauge comfort. It meant he did not have to go out anytime soon. He did need to eat, but he did not think that was too important right now. Bite looked down at Ambala and paused his stroking hand. Something more needed to be said. This was the first time in days that he was able to think clearly. He should have known what it was that was still nagging at him. Instead, Bite gently lifted Ambala's head off his lap and laid himself down beside her. He wanted to be closer to her, so that this clarity would linger longer. "We'll just stay here...it's safe in here."

Ambala: This place was becoming more bearable each second she was with him. When she first came here she thought she had entered a new nightmare, but now it was coming more like a dream. She had Bite and now a safe place to sleep at. It may be just a closet but to her it was all she needed it was her new safehaven. "I like that idea," Ambala said kindly as she moved herself in a nice postion next to Bite. It was then her heart started to beat a little bit faster as she was so close next to him. "Hey Bite..." she said a little quieter, "Do you feel..." she said before stopping. She wasn't exactly sure if she should go on, but part of her really wanted to know if he was feeling the same way she was. So she just sat there for a moment debating on continuing her question to him.

Bite" His brown eyes closed as he laid beside Ambala. He could actually feel the knots in his back loosening. His tail ached, but the urge to chew on it was not nearly as strong as it had been. In fact he didn't even feel the need to chew on Ambala right now. Bites tail flicked slightly beside him. Now what? What were they going to do? This wasn't a proper place to call home. They needed to get out of here. If they did maybe things would be better? "Hmm?" He hummed softly while looking up at her. "Feel?" Feel what? Bite lifted a hand and scratched at his hair a little in his confusion.

Ambala: It took a few moments to decided but as she heard bite's voice. She knew at that moment she had to continue it wouldn't make sense if she didn't. "I just .. uh ... wondered if you felt different when you were with me?" Ambala said as she took her free hands and covered her eyes quickly. It was a stupid question and she knew it but she had to ask it. Her wings began to shift a little bit, as she thought of their old home. There she was told never to ask questions and now maybe she knew why. Were the people there just trying to save her from weird situations like this...she wondered to herself as she waited to see if bite would answer.

Bite: Well....she was being slow in her speaking. That was sort of typical of ehr he supposed. But questions were not things that had been encouraged back at the facility. Bite looked at Ambala as she asked something so very odd. Did he feel different? Bite glanced towards the door and scratched at his head again uneasily. "I...don't know. I'm calmer and don't feel as scared. Your familar, and in a place as strange as this that is a good thing."

Ambala: "Oh I see..." she whispered in reply. Maybe she was just going crazy she thought. He didn't seem to feel half of what she did, even though she did feel quite calm when she was with him too. Was this place finally getting to her or was it something entirely different she wondered to herself. She sat in silence a minute before she quickly shook her head. "Well me too. It is nice to be with you, I can finally be myself with someone. Since you know I never really liked fighting that much back home, I just thought it was what everyone did so I did it," she said looking up towards the ceiling. She was so lost in thought that not even part of her, realized what she had just said aloud to him.

Bite: He took a slow breath and tried to make certain his insides were settled properly. There was a small..fluttery feeling. Sort of like a pin p***k in his head that he could not pull out. What was it? He found her admission about fighting possibly part of that irritation? He had no problem fighting...he had not liked fighting her but... was it really all their fault? Or was it his? Bite growled softly as he shifted in the closet. His hand lifted and he scratched at his ear uneasily. "I...I just...they said to fight so...so I did...is all..."

Ambala: As she watched his movements she slowly realized what she had said. Through her words had she accidentally blamed her last home for all of her actions? Sure she never liked that home much, but they had kind of cared for her hadn't they? Then again the only reason she ever could bare that place was after she knew she wasn't the only one there. Her thoughts began to quiet as she listened to bite speak. After he had finished she turned towards him and sat up a little. "I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one," she said with a slight childish giggle, "...and ... i didn't completely not like it there. I mean they did introduce me to you, my friend. So ya..." She ended her sentence with those words and a soft smile came over her face. A smile she had never had before.

Bite: He stared at Ambala. He watched her. Quiet with his tail shifting in small uneasy jerks. He was being quiet, as it was clearly Ambala's turn to talk now. Still.. as she sat there and giggled. He had a weird urge. Something he had never thought ...no..wait..he had thought of it before. The houndoom tilted his head slightly at Ambala as she would call him her friend and the only good thing that had come out of her time in the facility.

Bite shifted on his knees and reached out to place his hands on Ambala's shoulders. If she had not pulled away at that point, Bite would take a short breath, and dart his head forwards to try and press a rather...confused and not so elegant kiss on her lips.

Ambala: This time with Bite was probably one of the best times she had ever had in her existence. He listened to every word she spoke and for once she was actually ... happy. No more being forced to do anything - every thing they did was what they wanted to do, she thought to herself with a greater smile as her wings began to move a little bit.
She quickly brought her head out of the clouds as she sensed bite move, and quickly looked towards him. she watched quietly as he reached his hands towards her shoulders. 'What is he thinking,' she thought quietly to herself as she sat there and waited to see just what he would do next. For once she had no clue what he was thinking, but something inside her thought she just might know soon enough.

Bite: She wasn't pulling away...that was good. That was real good. Cause if she had Bite just knew that he would have completely lost his heart and curled in the corner to chew his tail to it's very bone. He saw the confusion in her eyes, but did not pause to explain to her. If he even told her what he wanted to do he'd have chickened out. Bite leaned dowards and tried to kiss Ambala. His eyes somehow closed in the attempt. If she was going to look horrified or slap him he didn't wanna see it coming!

Ambala: As she watched Bite come towards her, her heart began to beat really fast. This scene was almost like something out of a fairytale she had read, but even better. Though part of her still couldn't believe what was happening right before her eyes. Bite was leaning towards her, and she had no idea what she was supposed to do. A bright red blush came over her face as she decided to just follow his example. She slowly began to lean up towards him and slowly closed her eyes as she came close to meeting up with him. Millions of thoughts ran through her head at that moment, though to her none of them really mattered. All that mattered to her was that she was doing this right...since if she was being honest with herself. She had once dreamed something like this would happen to her, but never actually believe it actually would.

Bite: He felt his lips touch Ambala's own and felt..well.. a bit of a shock pass through him. He had NO clue how to kiss a girl. So his lips purckered and pressed to hers much the same way a child might kiss a friend they had known for a while. It was a very chaste and uncertain kiss...but it was a kiss none the less. He carefully kept his lips pressed to her own for a few seconds. His heart was beating pretty fast, and it wasn't until his chest started to hurt that he realized he was holding his breath. Bite opened his eyes and very slowly pulled back. Only once he was sitting back did he start to breath again. Bite blinked his eyes at Ambala, keenly aware that he was still holding her by the shoulders. "Does...does this mean we're married?"

Ambala: The second she felt their lips touch, she couldn't believe she was actually kissing him! Part of her was really worried she wasn't doing it right since she had absolutely no clue what to do. She had never kissed anyone back before, let alone ever seen anyone kiss. The closest thing she had ever seen was in a storybook picture. Though she tried her best as she kissed him back as gently as she could. An the moment she felt a slight tingle or really shock surge through her body, that was the moment when she pulled away from him. Her face was bright red and her heart still beating like crazy. To her the kiss from him had felt just like it probably should. "Guess this is what a fairytale is like," she whispered quietly under her breath as she looked towards him. The moment she heard him mention marriage her face went as red as it could get. She leaned her head into his shoulder, and began to laugh a bit. She shook it gently still leaning on him as she spoke, "There's a few more steps before that."

Bite: He looked down as Mabala rested her forehead against his shoulder. What? He did not get it? Had he said something really funny or foolish? Why was she laughing? He shifted uncomfortably, and found himself frowning with her response. "Well... what are they? Why can't we be married now?" He demanded of her with a faint unhappy growl in his voice.

Ambala: As she nuzzled her head a little into his shoulder, a smile came on her face. She hadn't meant to laugh, but it wasn't in a bad way it was more out of happiness. As she looked up slightly she noticed the frown on his face, and as she heard the growl from his voice she was almost worried. Was her reaction wrong in someway? She had never been this happy before so she really didn't know how to act, but maybe he didn't know that. "Well ... I know one thing is dates, and hmm..." she said kindly while trying to come up with an answer,"I really don't know to be honest I just heard you couldn't." She waited a few moments before continuing, "Though lets find out together okay...?" As she finished those words a little yawn had accidentally escaped from her mouth.

Bite: Dates? He glanced around the closet with a sourness growing in his stomach. He didn't know how to date, and he doubted that this place was the right one for dates anyways. Bites tail shifted uneasily and he watched Ambala yawning. She was tired...he felt tired... On impuse he reached out to grab her around the shoulders so he could jerk her up against him. "So longs as it doesn't take too long." He agreed with a slight nod.

Ambala: "I'm sure it won't take to long..." she said with one last smile as her eyes began to shut. Part of her started to think maybe this was what a date was like? An if so she loved every minute of it so far, and hoped to have plenty more just like it. With her eyes slowly closing, all she could think about was the person who was in this place with her. Along with all the fun and adventures that were sure to come ahead. "Goodnight bite..." she said as she could fight her tiredness no longer and finally drifted off.
