Yvonne sat on her bed in the dorm, looking out the window. Being the first one to be assigned to the Amethyst Dorm, she was able to choose which bed she wanted. Naturally, she chose one of the two beds right next to the window. She was happy to be here at the school, though she missed her dad and big brother. "I should write to them sometime."

Vincent slowly walked into the dorm. He looked down at the room number on the small map. When he found his door he used his key to open the door. He found the bed closest to the window quickly. He set his backpack and suit case under the bed frame. He quickly got to work on his sleeping situation. He adjusted the frame a little to be closer to the window by just a few inches. He then threw his down comforter down in the large window seat next to it. He then set his pillow down.

"Ok this should work. I just wish I could get rid of this disgusting matress. Who knows what has happened on it over the years." He mumbled almost inaudibly. He then took his blanket and laid it over the matress and sat down. "Ok, good. It seems I am set up here. I wonder if there are any other people in the dorm yet." He decided that after moment a silence there wasn't anybody. He would head to a more public location. He headed to the Cafeteria.
