"I hope so... I rather not sleep outside at night. Who know's what Socks would do." she said and picked up the tabby to set him on her lap again. "He likes to wander around alot, but he get's lost easily." With a small laugh at the thought, she looked up as she felt another breeze.
She loved the wind, seeing as how she controlled the element. Everyone in her family had a different one. Her least favorite was fire, something she feared throughout her life. She shivered slightly and and looked back down at the purring kitten. ♫ ♥ But there's still room for zat somone else. ♥

Resisting the urge to laugh at her comment about sleeping outside for the night, he actually knew someone who frequently slept in the park they currently sat in because he was too lazy to get a place of his own, but she didn't necessarily need to know that. "He's a curious little guy, huh?" that would explain what had drawn him to the fountain, as it certainly would be an interesting thing to a cat. Watching curiously as she shivered, he chalked it up to the wind. While it was still summer, the season was beginning to fade into fall, though the breeze was a welcome thing after the summer sun beating down. He had finally caved and started wearing t-shirts during the summer, though most were video game related or were art puns; today he was wearing a faded Pac-Man shirt, which was one of his favourites. "Maybe you could get him a little collar with a tracker. Then he could never really get lost."

"I might just have too.. My little explorer is someone I wouldn't like to find out is lost..." she replied and held the silver kitten like a baby. Socks gently mewed and squezzed his eyes shut, makingg him look like he was smiling. He often gave a cat smile when he purred, ever since she had adopted the guy.
Kat's golden eyes glanced around again. This place may become her new favorite spot. Everything was so beautiful. Socks purred softly in her craddle-like hold on him. She turned back down at him a giggled quietly. ♫ ♥ But there's still room for zat somone else. ♥

Watching the girl interact with her tiny friend, his expression was one of vague amusement. Socks was a very interesting cat, Solo rather enjoyed the almost smile-like expression on his face, and so he couldn't say he was surprised that the girl was so taken with him. "I've never had a pet myself, but I think it would be a terrible thing to lose one." he agreed, chuckling quietly at the cat's actions. He certainly was interesting little guy, that was for sure. The purring was sort of funny to listen to, he had never actually heard a cat purr before, and he quietly wondered just how that might work.

"He's like a child to me...." She looked back down at Socks, remembering when the tabby was so small that he could cuddle up in your hand. She was glad she chose him instead of his sister, a dark gray tabby with yellow/green eyes.
Socks was more of interesting out of the two. He had a silver tabby coat like his mom but was white on the tip of his tail, the belly, and nose/mouth area. When he had finally opened his eyes a few weeks after she got him, they were the usually blue a kitten always had. Though instead of turning the greenish yellow like his two parent had, they stayed blue. ♫ ♥ But there's still room for zat somone else. ♥

It seemed the girl was very attached to the cat, almost to a ridiculous degree. Maybe it was because he had never had a pet that made it seem odd to him, but he couldn't really say. His stomach made a noise of protest, causing him to frown a moment. He had yet to eat that day, and as it was just past midday, it was probably about time he ate something. The conversation with the girl didn't seem to be going anywhere, though he felt bad leaving her there. His stomach made another angry noise, this time louder, and his expression turned almost sheepish. "It seems that my stomach desires food." he observes, turning his eyes back to her after a swift survey of the park. "If you haven't eaten yet today, would you perhaps like to accompany me in search of something edible?" the city's ruled on animals weren't very strict, and Socks seemed small enough to just hide in her pocket anyway. He wouldn't force her to go, but it would be rude to run off without inviting her along.

"Sounds like a good plan... " she replied and was happy he invited her. She set Socks on her lap and watched him crawl into her pocket. She smiled at the large bump the kitten made on her stomach, making her look as if she was going to have a kid. Though you could still see the tabby cuddled up in the pocket, he was still hidden enough for most not to notice him unless they looked for him. ♫ ♥ But there's still room for zat somone else. ♥

Obviously pleased that she agreed to tag along, he flipped closed his sketch book. The sign labelled with prices and such was folded in half and place in the open case along with the book. Flipping it closed, he did up the latches and gripped the handles before standing. Turning his eyes on the girl, it seemed that Socks had made himself comfortable in her front pocket and was hidden well enough. "Well, shall we be going then? I know a good burger place near here." he told her, hoping that would be sufficient. The only other place nearby was a shady pub or a really fancy restaurant, and neither seemed all that appealing at the moment. "You aren't a vegetarian, are you?" that was something he should probably check, just in case.

I'm not a vegetarian. A burger sound awesome right now." she said and let a grin spread across her face. "I haven't had one in forever." she exagerated and pulled her hood over her faded hot pink hair. It was a habit she had and always did when she was going to walk for a while.
Her hair color was unaturally pink. It was really a golden brown like her moms, but she colored it to give herself some personality. Plus, it made her eyes more noticible. ♫ ♥ But there's still room for zat somone else. ♥

Relieved at her answer, while the place did serve salads they weren't as good, he was glad to know that the place wouldn't be a total bust. Lifting the case from the edge of the fountain, he surveyed the park a moment before moving off down one of the main paths. "That's good to here. It's not the nicest place, but the food is good." he told her, leading the way down the path. The place he had in mind wasn't far from the park, a good part of its original appeal, but he had found that it was actually quite good. He often ate there during the summer while he was working in the park, so he didn't mind heading there now.

Juria walked out into the park, hesitantly looking around as he moved over to a nearby bench. He looked around slightly at everyone else around and sighed. It was a beautiful day today so he decided to leave the campus and head out to the nearby park for a walk. He was honestly starting to feel a bit lonely, but he always reassured himself that was the best way to go, especially with 'his' abilities. He never wanted to hurt anyone, that was the last thing he wished.
