 Sihu made her way through the sandy part of the beach, heading towards the now calm waters. It had started off as a chilly day, the ground still wet from the late night rain storm. The yellow female really didn't mind it, especially when the flower really shows off.
She fluffed up her tail to keep the sand from getting there. It was so darn hard to get all the sand out when she went out her, but the water beckoned her today and the grassy spot that seemed to keep the sun on it all day. She took a sip of water as she watched the small fish swim away from her paws. Grinning she headed towards the grass. The heat from the sun was a nice touch from the cooler sand.
Settling down in the tall grass, Sihu waited for the flower to raise up off her head a little to catch the suns rays. The grass barely hid the young females ears as she laid down. The sun was starting to make her sleepy and soon her eyes started to close. "Time.." yawn. "for a nap."

 Vallas had been wandering aimlessly chasing anything that moved all morning long. Unfortunately the previous night's storm had most of his prey still in hiding. He hadn't caught anything all morning, He had grown annoyed and stomach grumbling, he decided to settle for some berries instead.
He decided to make his way towards the beach, hoping the breeze would cool him down. He walked along the beach for some time, and was finally feeling a little better with the slight breeze and the calming waters.
His stomach growled again. Apparently the berries were not enough to keep his stomach content.
Hmmmm, maybe I can find some fish, he thought.
With that, he jumped into the water. He swam around a bit just to enjoy the feel of the cool water through his fur. He felt a fish brush up against his leg, and he quickly snapped out of it and went after the fish. He was far better at fishing than hunting, as much of his time was spent in the water swimming just for fun.
He had been too slow though. He lost track of the fish. As he was looking for it again, he saw a bright yellow spot in the grasses on the beach. A white lily was poking out, and all thoughts of the fish had been lost. He walked back up onto the beach to investigate. Upon reaching the shore, he shook the water from his fur and cautiously made his way towards the grasses.

Feeling like she was being watched, Sihu slowly opened her eyes and looked up. The grass was suppose to conceal her, but it looked like she was in the more open area. Should I move and alert the watcher, or just wait? She let out a deep sigh, hoping that it sounded like she was still sleeping and waited with her eye slit to see what might be walking towards her. It wasn't uncommon for one of the insects to inspect the lily, but this time it felt like something larger was moving towards her.

Being the curious male he was, he was always finding himself acting before thinking. He didn't know what was in those grasses, but he intended to find out. So far luck had been on his side in his investigations, and he hoped this time would be no different.
As he got close he saw that it was a beautiful, bright yellow female. She looked slightly worried at his approach, and he couldn't blame her.
"Oh! I...I'm sorry, miss. My curiosity got the best of me, and I can't help but to snoop around. Sorry if I frightened you.", he felt bad, but forced a friendly smile so she would know he meant no harm. He wasn't sure if he should stick around, or just continue his aimless wandering.

She listened to the others approach, not really seeing what it was, just knowing that it was large. Before opening her eyes some more, it talked. The male shakaiyo surprised her. They are not the ones who want to visit her.
Sihu smiled nervously at the other. "You didn't frighten me, just caught me unaware." His pattern got her attention and she stared at the marks along his eye, her tail moving slowly in greeting.
