Here's the ad for my babies. But I doubt I'll get any takers. http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-pets-other-pets-for-sale-Hawaiin-Platies-W0QQAdIdZ316591395
One of the first generations hasn't gotten any color yet. I'm hoping/thinking she might be a pure yellow platy though I dunno how that happened. Can't wait to see how she turns out, keeping her for sure.
Also, Zuko is getting better about feeding time. But definitely no flakes for him. He seems to do much better with the sinking bloodworms. And the platties still pooping up a storm! I'm feeding once a day cause it's easier and they seem okay with that. Though I might reduce the amount given how much output I'm seeing, it doesn't seem possible. Maybe if I gave up the flakes it would solve the problem?

Glad Zuko is getting the hang of feeding time =) Definitely avoid flakes for him as much as you can. You may want to try a pellet that is too big for the Platties to eat, but he can still get his mouth around.

The platies actually have names now... Dawn, my bigger girl with the orange tail, Bee is the smaller girl with no red or orange (just black and yellow) and my boy is Flounder...or maybe Triton lol. I think Flounder, cause he's a bit fishy brained lol. One of the babies will likely be Sunny, I thought she'd be all yellow, cause she's the only one of dawn's babies without black yet but I'm starting to make out a few spots. She should still be pretty yellow. Only time will tell.
The other babies still all look the same. I think I have 10-11 babies (about 5 from each girl) Obviously too many if they all survive. They are nibbling the bloodworms I drop in the tank. The other fish have totally lost interest in chasing them.
On a side note, I seem to be loosing my fern. My anubis is doing great, but the fern is all discolored and holie.

Cut the dead parts off and give it a few weeks to see how it works out. I've got some trimming to on my new plants too lol I hope once I do they start growing better.
