Good afternoon everyone what's up? I haven't been on this guild in a very long time. It's cool the tf guild is still around. Anyway for those who remember marvel's transformers comic book series back in the day. Simon Furman is interested continuing the marvel run which stop at issue 80# in 1991. He ask if we get to have 10,000 signatures. The Idwpublishing company will produce it. So if your interested here's the link.

But didn't the cotinue the Marvel Series in Gen 2? Why skip the Gen 2 stuff?

because he had a storyline to continue after issue 80 however dude to the sales at the time marvel told him they canceled the series. Also when g2 started Simon didn't explain how many people survived the last issue must less how grim lock and the others got back their transformation after their exposure and resurrection of the autobots. btw simon furman did stated if 81 continues g2 will follow into the storyline.

I've gotta ask about the Legalities of this. I mean i''ve gotta assume the rights to the comics and characters belong to Hasbro and IDW publishing. So CAN Furman do this? Legally?

Also even if he can Simon Furman is a sexist, racist a** who's writing is actually pretty sub par even compared to his earlier contemporaries when Marvel had the rights to the TF comics.
