come on, you know you're excited. just a few more days till it's released so... who's buying it? what do you think its going to be like? more of the old style where Anita is a huge bad a** with her buddy Edward? or more ... well... sex?

Did anyone out there get Hit List? I haven't yet. I'm lacking money at the moment. If anyone did get it, what did you think? Don't spoil it for the rest of us though! =]

I got Hit List! Hamilton did a random draw where she sent twelve signed books each to ten random stores over the country and one was down the street from my house. So my copy is signed!
After reading it, I downloaded the rest for my Nook and I am re-reading the whole series. Currently on Blue Moon. I have lent out to many of my actual books to re-read them that way.

I got Hit List on my Kindle the day it came out biggrin I liked that it was a lot of Anita/Edward time but still kinda felt like it was missing something. I don't know. overall another win for the Anita Blake series XD

I just go mine today and am already half way though it. ^_^ Kinda wish there were more Jean-Claud but love the new guy. I also like how there is only one sex seen so far.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Hit List seems like the end of the series and for a finale it completely sucked. I adore this series but Laurell K. Hamilton can't write endings well. It was incomplete, inconsistent with the rest of the series, awkwardly paced, and disappointing to me. That is just one humble person's opinion, of course, but it was my heartfelt wish that the last book would, oh I don't know, resolve the issues the majority of the series was based on?
I'm being snarky and I apologize, but my disappointment and frustration with how things turned out do not allow me better manners.

I agree with you for the most part, but it wasn't the end of the series, so no worries there. LKH is actually in the process of writing the next now. I hope that if you do continue with the series it isn't so frustrating for you. biggrin thank you for your opinion.
