"Makayla! Huff, huff... Makayla! Wait!"
How did she run so fast in those heels?!
There was no doubt in Caleb's mind that his girlfriend was doing what she thought was best, no matter how much he protested. He couldn't live with himself if she went in and risked her life without him. What kind of a boyfriend would he be if he just left her to the mercy of the senshi? A terrible one, that's what. With a decisive frown, the redhead trotted along after her in the direction of the park. What he was getting himself into was something no one could explain to him in a reasonable fashion. It wasn't something you could easily describe. It was like throwing yourself into oblivion. But he didn't know that.
Once they reached the park, Caleb started picking leaves out of his hair after brushing beneath one of the low-hanging trees. Catching his breath, he looked around. Where'd they go? And how'd they get away so fast? "Umm... excuse me?" he asked absently to the darkness. He leaned against a tree to catch his breath. Jesus, what kind of terrible shape was he in?

Running in heels, was very much like dancing in heels. It was something you had to learn in order to not break your neck.
Slowing down just as they reach the park, Ayla took in a few deep breaths before she finally heard Caleb call her name a few times. Turning her head, she sets her gaze on him a she found herself smiling for a moment. She truly did love him for following her into this. He didn't have to, she wouldn't force him and she hoped he knew that.
Placing her hands on her hips, she turns her body fully towards Caleb once he catches up with her. Like normal, she slip back into his arms by his side as her eyes gaze over the park. They were in the right area right?
"Hello? We're here?"

"Yes... I think they will..." He said quietly making his own scan around the park, concentrating for a moment more on feeling and searching out that strange bright aura that the senshi brought with them, he found none and was at least briefly satisfied.
"Ah..." He said almost a purr as he heard the clack of heels moving quickly, and feet following. He touched a hand lightly to Lyra's arm to re-asure her and moved out of the shadows to let them see him. "...You did come." He said letting the delight of that slip into the fringes of his voice. "So you're sure about this..."
He lifted one hand and hesitated. Could he draw both of them in or was that to much? He'd decide after recruiting their first new Lieutenant, it had been enough time since he'd recruited Ilmenite that he had glossed over how tired it had made him. Uncertainty was never good...
"I should warn you, if I can do this... it won't be...pleasant, but the discomfort fades quickly."
