In a world like our's, there are very few things that exist that do not move or shift when they come into contact with another entity. Water is of no exception to this, or so it was thought until this particular essence was found. Completely still, it remains undisturbed regardless of what weather may batter its surface, or what object might pass through the thin film that rests upon its top.
To place one's hand into this foreign substance, is like slipping a hand through air, for it does not shift or stir as physics states it should. In fact, one might be so bold as to claim it is nothing more than optical illusion, until they remove their hand from the liquid and inspect - a closer look, just a peek, and they will see that this is no mere trick. For upon their hand will be the tell tale sheen of a dampened hand and a realisation that not everything is as it seems...

...But what if it did?
The giraffe have always been one of the more comical animals in the Savannah and yet few realise that they hear and see almost everything. Assumed to be large, knobly and stupid, few have an appreciation for the grace that they do possess and the level of skill that is required to simply exist based on how unusual they are.
Keeping this in mind, the reasons behind selecting this soul should be self evident. Destined to be an observer, this now deceased soul has seen much, experienced much and can tell many a tale. Though the Raevan might be born without these memories and might be blessed with far more than their patron spirit, this does not mean that all that once was, would be completely destroyed.
The powers of observation would remain, that bizarre gait and that 'tall' form...How The Soul Would Be Found:"Please note this is theory crafting and not canon, but is a rough explanation to how such a soul would logically be located."
Amorette may be a graduate and attempting to strike out into the world on her own but finding independence in a world where the job market is tough can often prove difficult. She does of course try her best, but every now and again there are moments when she permits her parents to spoil her a little more than her 23 year old self should really permit.
On one particular evening, her father raises the possibility of a "last family holiday", the final time in which he and her mother would elect to pay the price for her to accompany them on a break away from the norm. Desiring the opportunity to take a breather from the busy and often exasperating life on the job market, Amorette accepts and finds herself spirited away to the Savannah for a Safari adventure.
Injections, shots and various health checks first, of course.
Nearby her hotel, suspended above the plains on high stilts (an oddity in her books but nevertheless amusing) she catches sight of an aged giraffe and as the days progress, takes note of how it eventually succumbs to old age. Aware of the remarks made to her when she had been given the soul bottle, she takes the plunge and very carefully places it near the now deceased animal...An OOC Explanation:The giraffe is my favourite animal, so sue me! ;P

Udo is an individual who strongly believes in the necessity to think first and act second. Regardless of how long it takes, this Raevan is firm in her belief that all arguments must be weighted against one another and only then, should action be taken. As a peaceful individual, it should come at no surprise that Udo has a preference for the non-violent solutions and on occasions, can be quite vocal in relation to this. Regarded as the mediator, she is known for not taking sides and will attempt to find a middle ground between 'warring' parties.
Naturally inquisitive, Udo enjoys investigating various aspects of human nature, culture and traditions; a hobby bolstered and strengthened by her love of people watching! Given her grass roots, this young Raevan has a fondness for tribal music and dance.

1. As an individual who is difficult to exasperate and remains ever watchful, Udo can often provide others with surprising insight into their circumstances.
2. With a love for tribal dance, Udo has a reasonable level of stamina and endurance - well, in her upper body at least!
Weaknesses:
1. Incredibly warm days can dry her out very quickly, as a consequence she may become sluggish. This can lead to her being very vulnerable in certain circumstances if she doesn't keep herself hydrated.
2. Her passive and non-violent tendencies have ensured that her grasp of physical combat is sufficient, but not strong. "Attuned to her essence, Udo possesses the ability to drift through the water as though it were no different than air. Please note that to begin with, as a young Sigel, this will only operate as an under developed ability e.g. she will be able to hold her breath longer under water than most individuals. However, as she matures and develops to later forms it will become apparent that she can treat water in the same manner that she does air."

"At a young age this power would be largely under developed as it would require a great deal of concentration to master it, however as she matures it will be something she will be able to harness as either a defensive mechanism or an offensive weapon, this is discussed in further detail below. If she raises enough water up around her she will be able to place a barrier between herself and her enemy. This will not guarantee she remains unharmed, but the water will act as a buffer and slow down any incoming attacks as a more condensed substance is inclined to do."

"As Udo develops she will learn to master her domination over water to the point that she can form the liquid into an offensive attack. Should she raise enough water around her she will be able to thrust it towards her opponent to knock them over, stun or startle them. While there is room for this to become significantly more powerful depending on plot development and age, it is primarily designed to stun rather than harm, maim or kill for the time being."

Model painting, sculpting, dream interpretation. She also has a weakness for dress and shoe shopping - thankfully (for her father's pocket) she's immune to the call of handbags.
DISLIKES :
Heavy traffic, tight deadlines, swimming and cats. She doesn't generally deal well with teenagers and would prefer to avoid them.
PERSONALITY :
Amorette is a perfectionist and what many would describe as a 'walking dictionary'. If she hears another individual use a word incorrectly or out of context she will correct them before she can rein in her rebellious mouth. She has limited patience, which only appears to be given to adults and can often snap at young children/teenagers when they do something foolish - suffice to say, she finds it difficult to hold her tongue. Consequently she can be accused of being blunt to a fault and it often takes a patient sort to realise she doesn't behave like this to be deliberately malicious.
Despite these bad habits, she is a reasonable young woman when she can control her mouth. She comes across as intelligent, as one would expect of a university graduate, and is naturally inquisitive. She will happily sit beside a stranger and discuss anything from philosophy to physics provided they are prepared to explain it to her and the subject remains of interest. She may not necessarily understand it all, but she does like to broaden her horizons.
To her friends she is both amiable and helpful, coming to their aid when they ask for it (no matter how silly the request). However, they do sometimes question her solutions given that some are beyond the definition of 'creative' and seem to lean precariously into the realms of 'just plain weird'.
A touch eccentric, some might argue that she's like "marmite", if you don't have the patience to get to know her she may just end up being a royal pain in the rear.«« Physical Appearance_____________________________________Amorette is a rather petite figure by most standards, reaching a height of just 5'3". That being said, she knows how to dress for her figure and appears taller than she really is. Consequently, she can be seen most frequently in "maxi dresses" of varying colours and gladiator sandals.
She has hazel eyes, and much to her chagrin, bolt straight auburn hair. Depending on the weather she will either tie her hair back or allow it to coil round one shoulder. On occasions she will attempt to curl her hair, but it rarely manages to hold this style for more than a few hours.
She is relatively lithe and can be described as 'average', she's not unattractive but she couldn't stop traffic with her looks either.«« Historical Records_____________________________________Amorette is of mixed descent. Her mother was from the Aekea (United Kingdom, Scottish-esque) to be precise, and her father was from Durem (French-esque). She was raised bilingual and had a decidedly 'quiet' childhood. There were no dramatics in her household, or at least, nothing that wouldn't happen in normal families. Suffice to say, the most interesting memory she could recall is the moment in which her neighbour's goat escaped from the backgarden and dined on her father's cabbage patch.

She went through primary school as any young child would, and as is to be expected of any child she found subjects that interested her. She was most notably attracted to history and art which she brought with her into her teenage years. When it came time to decide her career path (something encouraged in her school) she decided immediately that she wanted to study the classics. It was not really something her teachers wanted to hear.
Nevertheless, her parents gave her encouragement and she went to university to study Anthropology, minoring in the Classics which she had grown so fond of. She graduated with a First but unfortunately for this particular graduate, jobs in her chosen fields are a little thin on the ground. As a recent graduate she is now on the hunt for a job in any area, coming to the conclusion that at the moment, it would be better to stock shelves or flip burgers than have no money.
