Sides/Groups The Geneticists: The faction of colonies that believes that enhancing human abilities through genetics is the gateway to the next step in evolution. They are headed by the planet Saturn-5, a terraformed world, 5th in the Algolian System, closely resembling the Saturn from the Sol system. Their genetic modifications are a part of everyday life; almost anyone can get one with the required paperwork. Their army is well trained, and highly advanced; however, their technology is not as advanced as the Technologists.The Technologists: The faction of colonies that believes that the future of humanity lies in technology. They are headed by the planet Agenhue-6, an Earth-like world, 6th planet in the Aegian system. Their technological modifications are available, but highly regulated; anyone who wants a modification must submit to a series of background checks and psychological tests. Their army is decently trained, but relies heavily on technology rather than ability. Their technology is more advanced than the Geneticists, but their combat ability is hindered by dependency.The Underground: A network of groups, believing that neither side is completely correct. They believe that the destiny for humanity lays in the combination of Genetics and Technology. They have limited resources; however, most of the members have a modification, from either side. They have begun testing the combination of modifications, but the results have been mostly unsuccessful. There have been some isolated successful incidents, but their results are unrepeatable. Their main base is housed somewhere on Varis Acadia. They mainly use guerilla tactics to combat the armies of the factions; resorting to trickery, underhanded deals, bribery, and coercion to achieve their goals.The Take-No-Sides: Those who choose not to take a side. Spread widely throughout the galaxy, they lack a unified standing, and are mainly ordinary citizens. They generally have no modifications, but many choose to have a modification done, just to make their lives easier. Personality: Tyler has ADHD, he never stops working, often taking on projects that others discard he spends most of his time with machines, often forgetting time to eat or sleep.
Bio: Tyler was told he would never amount to much as a child, diagnosed with several different brain diseases when he was younger his doctors urged his parents to modify him, His parents, not caring, said it would cost to much and did nothing about it, which turned out for the better. as a boy he would play alone since his parents were always leaving him behind, often times he would leave the house and search the junkyard not too far from where he lived an make toys out of the discarded tech pieces that littered the yard. In school he sucked at all subjects except for mechanics at which he excelled exponentially and was sent to become one of the Technologists most valued Engineers.

Other: his defense is terrible, even though he creates weapons of mass destruction, his own personal fighting skills are null.

Personality: Markus usually does not speak, but will engauge in a conversation ever once and a while. He is usually calm, and collected, but in battle, look out. His Accent sounds almost like a very ancient Russian tongue.
Bio: Markus was only bred for combat. he was taken at age 10, and went through test worth practices until he reached the age of 18. He was given a day pass. He would then proceed to go into more adept training programs. His pain threshold..he no longer felt pain. They had taught him, that pain was insignificant. As the years grew on, so did the advancement in weapons. By the time he was 27, the Cryo legionnaires had picked him up, strapped him with with most high tech worth ice weapons, and sent him to training with it for another 3 years in one of the most secretive programs, next to the desolator troopers.. Something must have happened there..because he did not come back just a regular high trained soldier..He came back into the ranks, with a high rank, and a very large very expensive weapon.
Now he just sits and wait, for the call.

Personality: Richard is a take action kind of guy. Tough, extreme but objective, quick-witted (without modifications), savior mentality (must save everyone), depressed (but hidden), and always appears to be distracte when he is not in combat.
Bio: Richard was born on a shuttle escaping Earth. His parents were historians and brought as many history texts (old and modern) as they could. Richard spent 10 years in that shuttle reading those books. He fondly remembered Guy Fawkes, the man who would fight for a cause truly believed in.When the shuttle landed on Varis Acadia, they moved into the technologist side, because they believed geneticists were against the history of the human race. When he was 17, his parents were thinking of moving to another planet to try to find peace. They let Richard choose wether to go or stay, bur he chose to stay for he fell in love with a girl and never told his family. A week after they left and after giving Richard the house and enough money for 10 years worth of college education, the reason he stayed, Chelsea Anderson, died in a surprise Genetecist attack in the slums where she volunteered as a nurse for everybody. Since that day, he has been a member of the Technologist's army, vowing to at least save this planet from them.

Specifics of mod: Mid-He has been given prototype weapons and armor that are top of the line; from concealables to assault/close-quarters weapons to heavy weapons, plus a few melee weapons.
Heavy-He has trillions of medical nanobots that heal nearly any wound within at most one hour. These nanobots can also be transferred to other people to fix wounds temporarily. These nanobots are disabled while the host is using sort of brain-altering substance the nanobots do not already administer.
History of mod: Mid-Richard is similar to a lab rat, so he makes sure these weapons are somewhat safe to use, but they are checked to see if they will fire at all.
Heavy-Every soldier with knowledge of medical practises is given these nanobots. Sometimes, a black market modifier will have gotten his hands on some, but rarely.

Bio: Viktor is the younger brother of Tali Keirynn's late "father". He lost his wife and daughter in a revenge attempt made against him while he was still in the Technologist military. He never forgave the Genetecists for what they did. Tali was kidnapped and her "parents" were killed trying to get her back. He watched Tali grow up under Genetecist care using The Organization's resources. He was very close to just storming their base and bringing Tali back with him as they began to experiment on her. He was, however, under orders not to interfere. He was reported MIA presumed KIA after a mission orchestrated by The Organization to recruit him. He orchestrated part of the events leading up to Tali's recruitment, such as her getting the assignment. He is a very secretive man, and one of the few people in the organization who knows what their leader looks like. He is very loyal, and would do anything for his real friends and much more for his own family. His spinal injury doesn't prevent combat effectiveness, but does prevent him from moving as quick as he used to.

Personality:Tali is strong-willed, bold, and fierce. Her enemies generally describe her as a savage wild beast. Tali is known to have a rash, hasty, and incautious nature. With absolutely no considerations as to how far she is willing to risk her body to complete any tasks, Tali takes everything to the next level by sacrificing every limb in her body by pushing herself to the point of extreme. Tali obviously lacks any sense of fear or danger. In her mind, Tali believes that she has no limits as to what she can do. This reckless behavior in turn either injures herself in the process or does things that no one else has ever done because of their fear holding them back. Due to her stunts and daredevil actions, she either seriously injures herself or sets a high physical standard or record that no other human has dared to attempt. Bio:Tali, without her knowledge, was born under a Technologist family. At the age of four, she took a dangerous dare from other young kids to perform a stunt in a restricted area. Without hesitating she jumped in, barely succeeded in completed the dare; nearly killing herself and injured herself badly. The Geneticists, in turn, found her in their territory and were impressed by her strong mental and physical abilities at such a young age. Thinking that she had great potential within her, they took her in and tended to her wounds, never returning her to her rightful family. Tali remembers her past, but she was too young at the time to understand the sides of war in which where she was raised and believes that her parents simply didn’t want her anymore so they never picked her up from the Geneticist’s hospital.

Other: Tali is loyal to the Geneticists, however she bends the rules and does things her way in order to complete any and all tasks given to her because of her extremes. Also because of how many times her body has been damaged, regenerated, restored, experimented on, and injected with successful and some unsuccessful modifications, she has recently developed a side-effect of dizziness almost to the point of blacking out sometimes. Tali does not believe that may or may not lead to something more serious in the future and keeps this to herself instead of getting it diagnosed and cured.

She's very athletic, and prides herself on being able to keep up with the guys. She's not, in any way however, butch and also secretly believes in romance. She has a great sense of adventure, and has a hard time turning down a challenge.
Bio: Lyca grew up in a family with four brothers. Her and her brothers were very close. They always looked out for her - she was the baby. She usually felt the need to be a part of the group, but sometimes all she wanted to do was be alone. When she was 16, she was abducted from her family. Lyca got used to living in the lab, but freaked out when she started waking up naked in the woods outside the compound, having no idea how she got there. The lab techs there refused to listen to her or explain in any way, so she broke out and wandered around on her own, surviving as best she could, until one day, she found the geneticists.

Profession: Nothing, at the moment. She's been on her own for about four years now. But she's very smart, and picks up on things quickly. Not to mention super athletic.

Personality: She has always been rather "robotic" in personality (Ah, the irony...). She doesn't know the meaning of anything anyone else might call 'emotion'. It's not like she wouldn't be able to learn about it though...
Bio: Yulia doesn't really remember or know much about her own past. Besides the fact that she was trained to kill in a cyborg raising complex/laboratory (what you will). She does age, only not as fast as a normal human would. She has since broken away from her ties to the lab where she was raised and trained to kill after an 'incident' (one which she prefers not to talk about). Now, she travels the universe in search of answers about her past.

History of mod: What Yulia does not know is that the organization that she had worked for kidnapped her from an entirely different planet. They then performed technological experiments on her to have her fight for the Technologists. The planet she is originally from it is common for the people to have genetic abilities described as space and time manipulation and telekenesis. Yulia does have these abilities, but they have not been modified or tampered with. The Firefly Agency specifically left those alone and experimented on her body physically so that they could use her genetic abilities to help win the war.
