Shin felt his own wounded ego soothed by the laughter of those watching. He had not been able to rise above JK in this match, but he had taken effective steps to ensure that JK was dragged back down to his level as well.he would tarnish his every victory! It was only after he started to stand up, that Shin fully realized that his actions had been a bit more shameful then he had intended. It had not been his idea to reveal -that- much of JK to the gathered crowd. So when the infuriated dark haired boy spun about, Shin understood his rage.
Though he rather wished JK had kept that glove on. JK's fist smacked with his fury into his face and Shin found himself falling back onto his butt. His head throbbed from the bare knuckle punch. That had been uncalled for! Of course, Shin was not one to allow his rival to take things to another level and not step up of course. Shin jerked his own gloves off, and with a painful rolling motion, he got back to his feet. Shin lunged himself in a tackle for JK's waist, his left hand swung wildly towards his face. "You couldn't kill bacteria with hand soap!" He snarled.

JK felt a surge of bestial satisfaction as he felt his knuckles connecting with soft flesh and not-so-soft socket. For all he knew, his showing his bare self to the audience was Shin's whole intention, and it was about as low as one could go. Had he been the one on the floor, he would at least have made sure the other's underpants stayed on! He wouldn't have been THAT mean! But apparently his sympathy was for nothing, and Shin was willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure that the victory was tainted, as it wasn't his.
His angry rush caused him to be scooped right up into Shin's tackle, and as he squirmed with indignity in his boxers, he felt an explosion of pain in his own eye as one of Shin's fists pounded his face. He gave a howl of outrage as he wrapped his arms around Shin's small frame and tried to scratch at his back, like the whip marks from a cat. "Are you THAT jealous of me that you have to prove my manhood the the friggin' school?" HIs scratches quickly turned to punches as he in his rage tried to land as many punches as he could on Shin's already bruised ribs.
The next thing he knew, a strong hand gripped the back of his shirt and yanked him off of Shin. Struggling angrily, he saw Shin also being pulled up by the gym teacher, looking positively furious. Craning his neck a bit, JK saw his own shirt was being held by the referee, looking serious but with a smile persistently tugging the corners of his mouth. He saw the teacher's face growing red as he shouted at them. "Of all the stupid.......childish.......get out of here! Both of you! You'll both get detention for this and we're calling your parents! Just go!" As a last vehemence he hurled JK's gym shorts at him, giving him just enough time to catch them before the referee roughly escorted him out of the ring. What, like he was going to break free and cling to the ring? Fat chance now.
JK paused just outside the ring to hastily put his shorts back on, casting hateful glances at Shin through his thick, puffy eye. Yanking off the headgear and throwing it to the floor, he stormed out of the autditorium, detouring through the locker room to get his stuff, and walked into the corridors, flipping open his cell and speed-dialing. "Hey Mom, it's JK; listen, I need to come home, can you be here in a little bit? No, I'll explain when I get home. Thanks, Mom." Slipping the phone back into his pocket, he silently walked through the halls and didn't stop until he was outside in the bright sunlight.
He heard rather than saw Shin joining him, and he didn't even spare the boy a glance. He was still seething with humiliation, but the time for angry threats had passed. He knew that come what may, the victory had still been his, and the other had just resorted to cheap shots to wreck it. He saw the glint of sun off of the hood of his mother's car just a minute later, and before he started walking to it, he spoke seemingly to the empty air. "You know back there, I said I was going to kill you. Just so you know.......I meant every word of it." He turned his head just long enough to flash a big grin at Shin before turning back and breaking into a run to meet his mother's slowing car.

JK had the physical weight and momentum behind him to take Shin down easily. Of course, at this point he was not trying to dodge out of the way. Shin twisted his body under JK and rolled with him, so he could scratch at the other boy's arms. He barely felt the scratches and punches made by JK at this point. Like a pair of wild cats, they entwined and inflicted what damage they could on each other. No matter how hard JK had hit him before in the ring, these bare fist punches had a bit more bite to them.
Shin felt a pair of strong hands gripping him by the back of his shirt and jerking him back. He was ashamed to admit that for a moment he flailed and kicked at JK before they were parted too far for him to hit the other. He glared with jealousy at JK. His breath came heavy and quick, and he could taste blood from where he had seemingly accidentally bitten the side of his tongue. Shin glanced towards the teacher and the referee, and felt his cheeks warming a bit more then usual after such a conflict. He had clearly gone a step too far, even if it had not been intended as such.
Shin was quiet as he was forced out of the ring. He saw JK pause to pull his shorts back on, though Shin would not glance towards him in the least. Shin skipped showering, as he could do that at home, and he quickly redressed. It was important that he did not stop moving yet. He could feel the bruises forming, and with those bruises came the stiff pain that begged for him to just lay down and stop moving. A nice hot soak in the bath was what awaited Shin now...after a long sharp tongue lashing by his parents for fighting. Already Shin's mind was pondering the different things he could do to keep himself occupied during his pending grounding. Hopefully it would not be longer then a week, there was a carnival he had been saving his money up for. He knew JK was going to be there and he wanted to be there to compete against him in whatever games he found the other boy playing.
Somehow JK managed to leave the locker room before him, and so he was waiting outside when Shin quietly stepped to the other side of the stairwell. Shin glanced ahead blankly and did not look towards JK for a few moments. He did give in to the urge and peered though the corner of his good eye as the other seemed to be swelling up rather spectacularly at the moment. JK did not seem caught up in the fury he had been before. Well, that wasn't too surprising. How many times in the past had they given into such fits of violence and unthinking anger? Once things calmed down though, they were back in control of themselves. Shin saw a familiar car driving up to the school steps. Ah, there was JK's ride, and from what he could see of the face of the driver, he was going to receive a scolding similar to what he was going to get.
JK began to speak, and Shin turned his eyes fully to the other. The threat seemed incredibly serious at the moment. Yet that smile... Shin could not help but smile faintly back. Oh Katch.... "You'll never be quick enough." He called out to the boy as he approached the car. Shin did not stop smiling, even when that car drove off. Perhaps he would tell JK the truth about the boxers. How it had not been his intention for the other to bare all to the world. Maybe...in a few years... Until then he'd just pretend that it had all been according to his grand design to cheat the other of his glow from the newest victory in the long line of their rivalry.
