Conner followed the rest of the team. They were going back! He continued to carry the man by the back of his suit as their group met up with Robin and the others. He followed, into the portal and onto the institute.
Tim looked up to see the group had come to them. He stood next to Kai, Jinx and Nightshade as he listened. Truthfully he was with Kai on this one. He preferred that he head back to Gotham after all this, and in the back of his mind he wondered if Oracle was going to join him on that. Of course they'd all keep in close contact through transmissions... no doubt they'd have to work together again in the chaotic world they lived in now. That comforted Robin to an extent, to know that they were building bridges.
He made sure the entire group was in sight. Some needed immediate medical attention, but all were accounted for. He walked through the portal Nightshade had opened up.
