EMRYS

но нєʀоѕ мєтɑ снɩʟɩоɴ ᴩʀᴏѕᴏᴩᴏɴ

[Arcane Science Research and Development Laboratory, Outside]

Tsukiko was still striding towards Fuyu as Anya and Lee joined in on attacking him, Lee being her distraction and Anya being gung-ho about it, apparently annoyed. Tsukiko knew very little about Anya apart from work-related tidbits; the girl was her sister's friend, and as anyone knew, she did not share a social circle with Senka. If Senka's one friend, their other twin sisters, and her mechanical doll could really be considered a social circle, that is.

Regardless of cause, they had all attacked at once, only to have them be deflected by means that were rudimentary at best. Tsukiko thought only of the ease of which she could have broken that barrier by altering the projectiles a little, but any thoughts hopped from her mind when she lost her footing abruptly. Senka's quake shook the Seireitei; Tsukiko was tipped sideways just as Fuyu's next attack came, and it glanced off her left shoulder's Reiryoku armor instead of hitting its original target.

Chains shot from the dagger, an amusing development no less, wrapping her in the manner unique to the Kidō. In her head she had already blindly calculated Fuyu's movements, and her nimble tail weaved through the oncoming chains; overlooked by the Bakudō by the simple fact that it was an extraordinary appendage. She whipped it around her body, using it to catch the majority of the kick's force, although the rest of it pushed her sliding backwards across the ground. Meanwhile, the familiar double-helix spiral of books had appeared around her; on one particular book, the letters H-A-K-A-S-E T-S-U-K-I-K-O began to fade from it's front cover, signifying that the ability was wearing off.

As she skidded to a halt, Emrys' bookmark appeared between her fingers, reiryoku steaming from it's tip and the transformation came undone and a new one immediately took place. Tsukiko was quickly replaced by Lee, or rather an older, wiser-looking Lee that was no longer covered in the chains; a rotating wall of wind had formed during, sucking up the lightning bolts, and was now dying out. Emrys' sly expressions reflected in Lee's face as he cracked a shrewd grin and moved his left hand, putting it over Namihime's hilt as the archive vanished. "Kaizō Kidō: Jūgeki Byakurai." He tilted the weapon at an angle, aiming it in Fuyu's direction, and almost instantly a red beam of electricity left the pommel and zipped across the gap between them, aimed to pierce Fuyu's left shoulder and exit from the other side in an instant.

Lee's face once more betrayed Emrys lurking beneath it; his face twisted into an amused, almost smug, grin. "Kidō Master indeed." He remarked, airily, moving towards Lee. With a snap of his fingers, he constructed a green, three-dimensional hollow cross that framed itself around Fuyu. Following this, he rubbed his index finger and thumb together, creating a tiny thread of flame that rolled into a ball, expanding to the size of a baseball as it did so. Almost an instant later a pale orange box encased the flame ball before vanishing; it instantly appeared at the bottom of the cross, directly below where Fuyu's feet would be. The orange box dispelled to unleash the flame ball, which expanded to fill every inch of the barrier, roasting it's contents.

"Now then." He said, the cross fading away. He lifted his right arm and the sleeve slid down ever so little, exposing the bottom-most part of the tattoo that ran down the length of his arm. Without warning and with no preparation on his part whatsoever, the four combatants and the surrounding area were bathed in a green light and instantly translocated from the labs to a place in the Rukongai that was quite far from the Seireitei. Their new battlefield was displayed as the light cleared and the dust settled; it was a vast, rocky, desert-like area featuring scarce vegetation and few living organisms bigger than a fist. "Nothing to blow up here." He waved his hand gaily, indicating their surroundings. "Can't blow up the rest of the twelfth, or Hei-dono would have my head."

[Below the Daireishokairo, The year 2113]

Deep below the Daireishokairo, in a chamber known to few, sat a mostly black, cartoonish figure with bottomless, white eyes and a body void of feature. It's mouth hung loose, and it stared across the room where it sat on the floor, it's eyes' focus imperceptible. It was known as the Aikagi, a being that, in the wrong hands, was very dangerous. It had the power to alter the very fabric of time and space. It stirred suddenly, moving it's hand from it's knee and rising from the ground. Having known the past, present, and future already, it was well aware that its "allies" were already bearing arms and journeying to the past. It was soon time for it to take action, although the time it took action was irrelevant, as it could arrive at any point in time it chose. Space seemed to ripple all around it and then it's world was suddenly tinted red, as though it were looking through rose-colored lenses. In an instant, time rewound itself until it came to a stop on May 24th, 2013 at 8:17 in the morning. The Aikagi stepped back into the Space-Time continuum, and all was colored right once more. It vanished seconds later, not through any means of high-speed movement, it was simply no longer where it had stood.

[Present time, 1st Division, Hueco Mundo, then nearly everywhere at once.]

Surfacing, the being appeared in the 1st Division where several members of the 12th Division were finish up the application of the new atom Tsukiko had created a while ago onto the sphere that showed the Menos Forest. It was designed to work like amber preserving an insect inside it for centuries, but instead of preserving an insect, it was meant to halt the degradation of Space and contain the phenomena completely. The being took a step forward, and many shouts of surprise came from those surrounding the window. Many tried to step in it's way, even swing swords at it, but the Aikagi kept moving towards it as they went directly through it. It was just in front of the spherical window when it stopped and sunk it's arm and hand through the new atom and into the sphere, causing it to pulse with energy until it began to shrink in size and start to close. The Aikagi quickly relocated itself to Hueco Mundo and repeated the very same process, much to the chagrin of Hollow that surrounded it, until the sphere was gone. It returned to the Seireitei seconds later, now nearly every where at once as mutliple instances of itself spread across the Seireitei where the Avant-garde were. Each of them plunged their hands directly into an Avant-garde's body, removing their Chronolock ability and making them vulnerable to harm. As soon as each Avant-garde, now numbering in the hundreds, was dealt with, it returned to existing in one place, this being on the Hakase Estate where it walked into the area that was frozen in time and lifted it's hands to restore the area's flow of time to normal. It repeated this process two more times at the two other locations time was stopped; between the 1st and 11th Divisions and between the 5th and 8th Divisions.

"I cannot stand who I am, I'm this man. With this blood on my hands, in this blood I am damned. So watch my wings burn as they burn in the fire. Don't scatter the ashes, no need for the choir."
User Image

It wasn't long after his attack launched that Anya did the same and used an attack of hers against the man forming what appeared to be a ball of energy. It was still a little odd to be standing and fighting alongside two people from the future. Fuyu used a danku to attempt to block both Tsukiko and his attacks which was unsuccessful for the most part. Then Fuyu stabbed himself with the syringe and restored himself to his full ability blowing away the attacks sent to him with the release of his spiritual pressure. Then suddenly a quake shook beneath and made him lose his footing his eyes wide for a moment as he spotted an attack heading towards him. He was able to deduce that kido was involved in the attack but what else couldn't really be deduced from his angle. Catching his footing again for a brief second he swung his katana out in front of him connecting with the dagger and sending it off course. The chains shot out towards him and he went sideways avoiding them altogether.

Stopping suddenly someone was next to him and going for a punch towards him. Instinct told him to go backwards but he decided against it. Twirling in a complete circle with his blade water erupted from his body and katana outwards. "Sazanami, Mizuni." The water would meet his strike and the pressurized waves were more than enough to stop his strike. The water itself heated to a near boil so as to cause further harm. Then a red beam of electricity entered his vision and in an instant went to pierce Fuyu's shoulder. Putting a little distance between himself and Fuyu Lee turned his head to look in the direction the beam had originated only to have his eyes widen to their fullest. Was that...him? He had been expecting Hei to take Tsukiko's place and therefore seeing himself instead was quite a shock. Especially considering it was an older him. The grin present on Emrys' face being the only thing that told him it wasn't him completely. Instantly Emrys used a barrier to seal Fuyu for a few moments as he readied another kido.

Watching the result of the attack Lee remained rooted in place as he watched. Slight shock still present on his face as he stared ahead. Then emrys spoke and the sleeve on his right arm slid down just far enough to see a tattoo clear as day on the arm. When did he get that? Then suddenly the familiar feeling of traveling through space in an instant using the forbidden kido made itself known in his stomach. They were quite far from Seireitei now which meant there was no need to worry about causing collateral damage. Emrys then mentioned there being nothing to blow up here finishing by mentioning Hei having his head if the twelfth was destroyed. Mind still reeling slightly he shook his head to clear his thoughts and turned towards Fuyu. Using the aftermath of Emrys' attack he pointed at Fuyu. "Sai, Kin, Sajō Sabaku, Gochūtekkan, Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō." Saying the kido in rapid succession they would then activate just as rapidly.

First sai would pin his arms behind his back. While it would be easy to break out of it was just to give the other kido time to travel the distance between them. Next Kin would tie his arms behind his back with Sajō Sabaku following closely behind with the intention of doing exactly the same. Then Gochūtekkan would cause five pillars to appear above him and pin him to the ground. Finally a gigantic electric blast shot out from his hands towards Fuyu and would cause an enormous explosion when it hit that would mean that even without a direct hit it still would cause damage. Using shunpo he put enough distance between himself and the explosion to be safe. Sweat formed on his brow and ran down as he let out a few deep breaths to regain his breath. Using so many high kido in a row would certainly take it's toll on him. Eyes peered at his near mirror image that was Emrys still not quite able to get over it before looking forward again.

"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

Anya was still falling forwards slightly when Fuyu made his move to counter the trio that came at him. His techniques at keep the attacks at bay were incredibly irritating to say the least. Whether it was to prove a point of power or if it was simply how Fuyu planned to use the vial, he injected himself at the last minute causing his lost energy to be regained in a flashy manner. That flashy wolf-head that embodied his powers deflected her solar orb and the over outburst of it threatened to throw her back; only thwarted by her agility which allowed her to dismount off the air mid-fall and gain some relative distance from the man. Her eyes still concentrated on Fuyu, Anya's body was soon rocked by an unknown shock wave, of which she easily placed to her dear friend Senka. Senka was the only one capable of doing such a feat and the thought of Anya's dearest friend brought a small smirk of success to her facade; whether it was for her or for the back-up from the future in general, she too was unsure.

Soon after the Seireitei was shaken, Anya's foe was upon her with an attack, or rather sending one towards her. The many crescent-shaped blades fell towards her with great speed, but it was nothing for her to counter. Shifting her weight onto her left foot, Anya shoved herself backwards and silently enchanted four Kidō within her mind planning to use them all from her right hand, now balled into a fist. When the blades were but 20 feet from her, Anya threw her right hand forward, opening it to reveal her palm, and slammed her right foot behind her to halt her movement. The moment her hand opened a triangular prison formed in front of her, instead of around her, with a rotating vortex within it, which too had something hidden within it. As Fuyu's attacks racked the Tozanshō one after another, exploding into the many petals of white Cherry Blossoms, it began to crack on that one side. Once it shattered, the next Kidō activated throwing out the Tenran out into the air, swarming over the petals in a flux, causing them to ram into each other and explode. As the strings of explosions continued, Anya activated the next two Kidō: a Hadō #88: Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō infused Bakudō #62: Hyapporankan.

The single Hyapporankan was within the Tenran and shot for Fuyu the moment it was released from the Tozanshō shell. As it sored, it began to glow a vicious yellow and spark before it flooded into hundreds of singular poles that would rain upon Fuyu's form with capable force. This attack came soon after Lee-Emrys' attack, and as they would aim to bind and secure Fuyu, they would all soon explode with the ferocity of Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō. To make the matters worse, Anya was adept in Kōjutsu Eishō, and proceeded to reinforce and power up the last three Kidō by repeating their incantations as soon as each was released.

With a triumphant feeling, Anya moved backwards by way of a few back flips of serene grace. When she came to a stop, the area was enveloped in a green light and they were all suddenly transported to somewhere within the Rukongai. A far and wide open plain which, Emrys placed as an ample spot to fight lest they be subjected to Hei-sama's wrath for trashing the 12th's dominion. A fair choice to say the least, Anya was happy about the new area. She would not have to worry about her attack affecting her comrades 'as much' so to speak. Her bankai, which she has yet to show to the public, is flashy in its own right if only by the power it possesses. She was ready for what would come next from Fuyu and awaited it with a sense of excitement, concealed behind a face of staunch observation.

Sakura Yamamoto
Captain - Squad 8

Sakura held on to the sword that wrapped the beast, digging the chain in even deeper to the beast the more it struggled. It ripped through buildings and everything else as it attempted to free itself, constantly keeping Sakura moving to avoid debris. However after a few minutes the creature disappeared, revealing the child in a strange contraption. The contraption fired off multiple missiles aimed towards Sakura. She forced the reishi below her feet to harden and instantly used Shunpo to move out of the path of the missiles. She reappeared 40 feet away. However as soon as she appeared the missiles instantly re-routed in mid-air to her new position. The missiles of course were not capable of turning on a dime, causing one missile to collide with a piece of debris, exploding upon impact it also took another missile out with it.

As the missiles neared her once more she placed her foot down in the shadow of a building and instantly disappeared into a shadow, she was ignoring the attacks launched against Roi at the moment, though she knew what was going on. Instantly she appeared from a shadow a hundred feet away this time. The missiles once more redirected towards her as she appeared from the shadow. A grin appeared upon her face as she gripped the blade that was coming from her hand even tighter. With a flick of her wrist the blade came to life and shot towards the incoming missiles and with a few more flicks of the wrist it created a sphere of slashes that obliterated the incoming missiles. With the final flick of her wrist she threw her arm out to the side, causing the whip blade to throw out a large slash towards Roi, though instantly after the blade retracted into her hand. Rather than enter into the assault once more she stood in place waiting for Roi’s next move.

Hibiki and Kangen XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX =============================================
Kirisho XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX =============================================

User Image

Everything was a blur, one moment Hibiki was ready to get a face full of explosion the next he was safely away from the blast zone, and seeing as how he didn’t sustain any damage he was certain he didn’t arrive there because of the blast. Even with his well-trained eyes it was difficult for Hibiki to keep track of what just happened, all he could remember was the sight of the explosion erupting out of thin air, feeling the incoming force before a flash of light, like a lightning bolt appeared, went directly towards him and…

”Saved ya.” came the sudden voice, and it was only then did the Captain notice the young boy standing beside him. Eyeing him, he sensed that his reiatsu was that of a Shinigami, but as the lad looked at him to check if he was unharmed he couldn’t pinpoint where he had seen him before-- which given his pseudo-photographic memory meant that it was unlikely he simply forgot about him. And this fact confused Hibiki as he has a brief access to a Shinigami’s profile when they joined the Gotei 13 or enrolled in the Academy as his journal also included a list of them for confirmatory purposes.

”Thanks, I noticed that.” Hibiki replied, standing back up as he endured the damage Aceline had piled up on him ”Which division are you from?” asked the Captain as he would sooner accept the fact that a pre-Academy Shinigami saved him rather than admit that he had a memory lapse. Perhaps picking up on this, the lad gave off a sly grin, pocketing his hands in a casual manner as he faced Hibiki, the leaning posture gave off a message that he wasn’t particularly into formal/military gestures ”Ah, sorry about that 9th Division Captain Hibiki Kirisho.” he began, his grin widening into a chuckle ”I’m the 9th Division Captain.” he then spoke bluntly, nodding towards him ”From the future, of course.” he added, hoping to clarify but only confusing the issue more.

User Image

As Hibiki’s mind reeled from the utter shock and confusion that the current scenario presented upon him in such a ‘matter-of-fact’ manner, two furry heads popped out of Kangen’s pocket and tumbled out. But before either of them could identify what they were, they suddenly transformed into two children, twins for that matter ”Hm? Riku? Risa?” wondered aloud the lad as he gave the two girls some space ”Well would you look at that, I was wondering why my pockets felt a little too heavy. And here I though the Kido spell had an adverse effect on cargo pants, hah!” he continued, speaking to himself a bit as the twins were obviously too dazed to understand, or hear him, though he didn’t seem to mind as he continued to get a good laugh out of it anyway. All the while Hibiki was still processing what the strange lad had just said.

”Now, now, you two aren’t gluing anyone’s hand to their face, not today at least. Now go to--“ the lad gave chase as the twins went off to attack, or irritate Aceline, interestingly giving more priority to Riku and Risa than Aceline herself. However, when Aceline released her area attack, the lad quickly changed gear ”Sorry about this girls… Bakudo #9: Horin!” using the kido spell, the lad summoned two energy ropes to capture the two girls before using Shunpo to relocate himself and the two at Hibiki’s location ”This place isn’t safe for adorable children like you.” sensing the sudden, but massive spike in reiatsu, plus the fact that he had foresight at this point in time, helped the lad to determine that Yuki was up and about ”Seems like mommy’s awake, why don’t you two say hi.” patting their heads, the lad looked behind him to survey the battlefield. Aceline was certainly tough, though he already knew that, but he was confident Akane and Tenkai would be able to keep up with her, for now at least.

”Alright then.” spoke Hibiki, surprising the lad a bit ”Let’s say you are from the future, after all I’ve seen crazier stuff. So who are you then? I’d kinda like to know who replaced me.” he spoke, a statement that was met by yet another grin ”Why’s that? Are you gonna make sure I don’t?” the lad jested, as was evident with his immediate chuckle ”No, I might not be a quantum physicist, or whatever but I know that messing with a timeline isn’t exactly a smart thing to do. It’s more of a formality.” though he wasn’t too keen on being replaced by a kid if that was what their Captain-Commander decided then it meant the lad wasn’t all talk, just mostly.

”A formality, eh? Well I’m not much of a fan of those.” replied the lad, but just as Hibiki thought his question was denied, the lad brought out a bottle from his backpack and flung it in towards him. Catching it, but just barely, Hibiki eyed the bottle wondering what it was ”Drink up. It’s the 4th Division’s special tonic, temporarily raises your energy and adrenaline reserves as well as dampening your pain receptors. Gonna need some help taking down that chick over there.”” opening it, Hibiki peeked into its contents to see a viscous green liquid. Looking up at the lad with mild disgust, he was met with only a shrug. Though medicines weren’t exactly know for their pleasant look or taste, Hibiki kinda hoped they had at least placed some sugar in it ”Er, thanks, I guess…” he spoke before drinking the rather bitter liquid.

”No problem, dad.” came the abrupt response which interrupted Hibiki, causing the drink to rush back out of his throat and into his nostrils. The pulp inside it didn’t serve to make the trip any smoother, and soon enough the Captain was coughing up on the ground and wiping his nose while the young man couldn’t help but simply laugh out loud ”Oh man, you should’ve seen the look on your face, haha!” at this point Hibiki didn’t know which was worse, the viscous liquid currently occupying his nostrils or the burns from Aceline’s electrocution, though he was slowly considering the former to be worse ”Why you little…” Hibiki snarled, covering his nose and mouth ”Don’t worry old man, the medicine will work even if it is just inside your nose, heh.” going back to the fight at hand, the lad swiped his hair back, and in a brief moment his resemblance to Hibiki was made clear ”This is 9th Division Captain, Kangen Kirisho, let’s crank it up!” with that he then he fired a simply Shakkaho towards Aceline, launching it with his index finger in a manner mimicking a gun, the moment it became airborne however, Kangen transformed into a harmless, but still lightning-fast bolt of electricity, outstripping the Hado in terms of speed and aiming to go right through Aceline. Appearing a few feet behind her in a sudden spark of electricity, Kangen placed both of his hands to his side, forming a sphere with them as he faced Aceline ”Hado #33: Sokatsui!” he roared, unleashing the Hado at her. A few moments afterwards the Shakkaho would then impact. Kangen had no worries about being hit by it, however, as it was fairly weak. At this point he was going to play with Aceline a bit, get a feel of how fast she was while at the same time annoying her.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

[Sōgō Kyūgo Tsumesho, Outside the Main Entrance]

As she neared the main entrance to the Hospital, Yuki spotted a swarm of white, ghost-like creatures outside that were being held back by forces from the 5th and 11th Divisions. Some of them were still advancing, but most of them were already bound to their spot by numerous Bakudō; the Shinigami looked quite tired. Given their appearance, she deduced them to be those so-called Avant-garde that her daughter from the future had warned Rei about. "Future indeed." She muttered. It wasn't exactly the easiest thing to wrap her head around, this time-travel concept. Granted, she hadn't actually seen the older Senka, but the thought was no less surprising. Yuki wouldn't lie, she had almost dropped her little girl when Rei sprung this on her. Luckily she was used to shocking news, so much so that she could cope with it — or rather, ignore it — until the time came to deal with it.

The doors blew open from a heavy gust of wind that flowed forth from Yuki's person, and she stepped outside just in time to witness the appearance of a number of humanoid, cartoon-like pitch-back figures. Their numbers were equal to the Avant-garde, in fact. Yuki was instantly on guard, and she was proud to see that the others had become more tense, more fierce, and were just as on guard as she, although she did notice that the occasional soldier was shaking in their tabi; she noted these individuals, and vowed to see to it that they received extra instruction. No sooner than they had appeared, however, did they shove their sketched hands through the creatures' chests and then vanish without doing another thing. Yuki found herself confused, and was trying to determine what that had been all about when someone gave a cry of surprise.

Yuki swiveled her head to the left just in time to witness a single Avant-garde was engulfed in purple flames and was reduced to ashes within seconds, writhing in pain on the floor. Her face went livid; she was angry that they were still attacking them; surely they all knew that these things duplicated. Yuki's anger fell quicklly, however, when she along with everyone else noticed something strange. Everything was quiet, and all eyes were trained on the scorched spot where the Avant-garde had been; again, nothing was happening. It did not explode as she had been warned, nor did it regenerate, reject the damage, or reappear with a comrade in tow.

A collective confusion rolled over the crowd, and most stared in disbelief as others glanced at their comrades as if they knew what the hell was going on. Everyone was wondering the same thing; why was that one not respawning? It seemed that, despite the shock, one brave soul decided to test something and ran forward, yelling and brandishing his Asauchi. He clashed with one of the loose Avant-garde, and after a feint to the left, bi-sectioned it with a downward, diagonal slash across its torso. A hush fell over the crowd, Yuki eyeing it carefully, and the creature let out a high-pitched wail as it disintegrated. Cheers erupted all around, and although she was just as glad they could be killed now she felt like

"I thought these things were supposed to recover from everything!" She shouted over their voices. Everyone — excluding the rough-looking young man from the 11th who had just cut the monster up — turned to look at Yuki, having recognized the sound of her voice immediately. Silence fell once more.

So wrapped up in his success, the young man chalked Yuki up to be a nurse and shouted back at her without turning to look. The 11th and 4th not being on the best of terms, he spoke rudely. "They do, you weakling! Haven't you-" By this point he turned back to look at her and in an instant he felt cold; his face went as white as a sheet and his legs simply stopped working, sending him to the ground in a slump. "My sincerest apologies, Sōtaichō-sama, I thought you were- I thought- I'm so sorry." He quickly bent over, prostrating himself before Yuki while multiple pairs of eyes flickered back and forth between them.

Yuki pursed her lips but decided not to say anything, instead waving a hand quickly to dismiss his apologies. He apologized once more anyway and all eyes were on her once more, most trying to decide what to comment on first; the fact that she was back, the fact that she hadn't bothered punishing the young man, or the fact that she was wearing the same robes as they. They stood fixated upon her for several long, painful seconds in which Yuki grew noticeably red in the face. "Oh for heaven's sake, it's not that big of a deal."

"Really!" She added hastily when she noticed that one particular girl, Musumi, had tears in her eyes. But that didn't seem to help the girl any; she actually ran forward with her arms open, as if she wished to hug her. Embarrassed more than anything, Yuki dodged her, moving to her back with a Senka and further away with an added Shunpo. Abashed, the girl stumbled to a halt and ceased her attempts as she felt the growing reiatsu emanating from her superior. Yuki moved her right hand away from her side, stretching her fingers as numerous winds flowed into it, shaping dust, water molecules, and tiny grains into a tangible sword that was quickly forming before many sets of scrutinizing eyes.

"It's beautiful..." Commented Musumi, who stood feet away holding her friend's sleeve tightly. Yuki resisted her body's urge to make her red in the face and instead concentrated on what she was doing. Finally finished, Yuki tightened her grip on the blood-red katana, and thumbed the tsuba, pushing it upward and revealing its pure gold habaki. "Nagarederu." In a flash, the sword became a congealed mass of blood that dripped away to reveal her Shikai's tanto. Simultaneously, multiple thin streams of flame took form and lashed out, cutting through the Avant-garde like a series of blades. Screams of pain echoed from the creatures as the flames ripped through them, and then they quickly ceased, the fire turning them to ash in a matter of seconds until none was left standing.

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆

[Sōgō Kyūgo Tsumesho, Yuki's Room]

Scratching the back of her head, Rei watched wordlessly as Yuki left the room as she was dressing. "I'm not a babysitter, you know..." She responded fruitlessly, putting on a frown and then looking towards Elisia who wondered if there was anything she could do to help. Rei shrugged her response and rounded the bed, moving in front of Tsukiko and extending a hand for her to take. The little girl was once more engrossed in what she was doing, although she would occasionally rub the spot where she had been hit. Tsukiko looked up a few seconds later, flashing her big, blue-violet eyes at Rei who was looking sternly at her. She seemed to consider her options for a moment before she conceded and took the spirit's hand, sliding out of the chair. "I guess tending to the wounded would be the best thing to do for now... Sorry, I'm not really the one in charge here."

Rei paused to consider something as her eyes roved over Elisia's face, and for a second she looked as though she was going to say something. Whatever it was, she appeared to decide against it with a shake of her head, and then proceeded to lead the inattentive Tsukiko into the hall. After a quick adjustment to Senka partway over her shoulder, she quickly escorted the two out of the hospital through a side door and down to the prison where Hei waited.

Blinking, Senka watched her perception of Vide's location change far too quickly than it should have, and knew he was up to his time trickery. It would seem that long-range fighting was less-than ideal. "Ngh." Grunting her disappointment, Senka reached underneath her hair and scratched the back of her head while Vide landed and let out a howl. As he came at her, she released Shiranami — which hung in the air by many invisible strands of Reiryoku — and threw her feet out from under her, tossing herself into a back-flip-like maneuver where she made a shearing movement with her legs. Throwing her left over her right, she hit her right foot on Vide's claw, using it as a stepping stone to push herself further into the air, sailing over his next attack like a pole vaulter.

At the same time, concentrated Reiryoku gathered around her back and shoulders, blowing off her haori and running down to her legs. When he came around her her front, she used a similar shearing movement, this time kicking off the air with her right and flipping her body upside-down, perpendicular in relation to the ground. As she did so, she planted both hands firmly onto Vide's wrist, and then performed a rotating straddle-split, aiming a hard kick at his face, one which contained the same body-destroying power as a Sōkotsu. Normally it would have been equivalent to the parent technique, Ikkotsu, but the presence of her Shunkō enhanced its power greatly.

All but a simple mischievous bliss filled their tiny heads as the two trouble-making girls made their way towards Aceline, intent on magically attaching her hand to her own face for little more than the entertainment value. Unfortunately for them, Captains far outstripped their speed, which could be overcome by a number of things ranging from passing butterflies to a house cat. They had made it a good ten feet from where they had started before Kangen's Horin attached themselves around the twins' waists and pulled them back. Their attitude shifted instantly, and they began to scream while struggling to free themselves.

"Lemme go!" Risa screeched, attempting a kind of stumbling walk forward that resulted in her little feet sliding backwards each time she took a step. "Leave me alone!" Riku screamed the same, also making an attempt to get away, but her tugging at the rope produced no more results than her sister. They were both red in the face before they finally submitted; they each exhaled an identical, aggravated sigh, folded their arms over their chests in an identical fashion, and glared off into the distance. After being dragged next to Hibiki, they were set free as Kangen told them to go play with their mother. This in itself was a good enough idea to make them forget about Aceline, but not change their mood. They were still angry with him, and the moment he patted their heads, they swiftly delivered two kicks to his shins; one kick and one shin per girl. Before he could so much as reprimand them, they scampered off in search of their mother, whom they couldn't sense even if they wanted to. Which they did, very much, for they hadn't seen her in several years.

[There was supposed to be more for both of them, but I hit a creativity snag and I don't wanna hold anything up, so...]
