I need to know wich one will make me the most money for my aquarium, for the least amout of gold a piece. As long as they're consistantly under 10k, and will pay for themselves in thier lifetime... I'll get them if they're good enough.

Electric Emeralds I need to know wich one will make me the most money for my aquarium, for the least amout of gold a piece. As long as they're consistantly under 10k, and will pay for themselves in thier lifetime... I'll get them if they're good enough. Pretty much all the fish available for gold do not drop a great deal of gold when they glow, and they don't glow individually as often as the cash fish. This makes them a lot less attractive to players. On the upside, they don't cost very much, and they don't take nearly the number of players to pay themselves back. But like pretty much all aquariums, you can't just throw the fish in your tank and expect to be rolling in gold. There's a lot of work involved to market your tank and attract the players. Tanks that aren't marketed don't tend to do very wel - and marketing one's tank is work, no doubt about it.

They glow often, and give out a decent amount of gold, and are inexpensive. 3nodding I saw a fish stat thread, and they were rated as "Good" fish, whereas many other Gold fish were rated as 'bad'.

If you're talking about King Awesomolocity's thread, you might want to look at this posting where he clarifies that fish are listed as good if they drop 25 gold/minute or more. Which isn't actually all that good, and doesn't take into consideration things like how often they glow, which really affects an owner's take. Or, more importantly, how many players they attract. It's all well and good to have a tank full of fish that glow, but if players don't want to play them, you still get nothing.
