Diane saw the man ready to pounce and with a swift roll she moved in between the pincer attack and avoided the overhead attack. While she was still crouched, Diane kicked the man to her right's legs out from underneath him so that he would fall on his back and be vulnerable. She turned to face her attackers, ready for them to try their best. "I'm not that easy, boys." She cackled at them. Diane even when surrounded by enemies was a bit cocky and self-assured.

Rasven saw the two mercenaries moving towards him, and paused to consider the best course of action. Waiting for another moment, he grasped the pitcher of still steaming liquid, and a cup. He began pouring the drink into the cup, and reversed his movement whenthe mercenary in the right made his move. With flick of his elbow, Rasven sent the steaming liquid at the merc, but didn't pause to see if it had hit him, as he was confronted by the other merc, who had drawn a knife from his belt. The man was slightly shorter that Rasven, and not nearly as agile. He can at Rasven with the blade, and brought it down, hoping to catch Rasven in the shoulder. Rasven quickly grabbed the knife wrist of his attacker with both of his hands, spun around, and brought the mans arm down over his shoulder at the attackers elbow, snapping the joint. The blade fell from his hand, and Rasven kicked it away. Still holding the wrist if the man, Rasven pivoted on his right heel to put the mercenary on his knees and kicked him in the ribs. Clatter filled the in as the others were likewise engaged.
((the sequence of disarming is based on a hybrid of two techniques in Kenpou Karate, the disarming is called "The Gift" and the follow up sequence is the third part of my personal favorite technique, called "Passing the Horizon"))

Due to a great number of factors, this Study Group is closed. I appreciate the effort made by those few who were genuinely intent on bettering themselves, and I also apologize for your loss due to the actions and inaction of others.
That said, I wish you all well in your future roleplaying endeavors and be sure this is not my last attempt at a Study Group. There will be more.
