Life Goes On:
Natsuki was born and raised in Japan under the thumb of her father, alongside her elder brother but sadly with no mother. Her mother died of cancer when Natsuki was only one and a half years old, so she has no memories of her. Growing up with no female influences, she became a little bit of a tomboy, but when she became of - what her dad felt was an appropriate - age, she was sent to an all girls school a few weeks after her thirteenth birthday, which her dad hoped would whip her into a smart, well-presented woman that would one day marry into a family of his choosing. During the summer, before her eighteenth birthday she told her father she did not want to marry, she wanted to see the world and further her education. Mr Wakahisa grew wrathful towards her, she was his daughter so she would do as she was told and then he hit her around. The summer was still, they did not exchange words, the girl she once was died, she became scared and nervous around people, she no longer wished for that exciting life but instead became what her father hoped for her, an android filled with knowledge. She returned to school and one day received notice from her dad that she could further her education in a uni of her choosing, she guessed it was his way of showing he was wrong, or he felt awful for his actions, but this still didn't fix her, she could no longer turn into the rebellious tomboy she was.
Graduating top of her class, she moved onto going to university in America and then her life changed, she no longer fully cared about her studies and although she was still a bit awkward around people, she managed to make some really good friends and met someone. Becoming a smidgen more confident and giddish, she became blissful with her American sweetheart Seth. They were together a year until he left her, but it wasn't even a matter of leaving, he cheated on her since day one, and humiliated her. Granted she was devastated but one of her close friends pulled her through it and taught her a way to release the stress and anger she was feeling; Fighting. Kickboxing and free style fighting was what she enjoyed the most, and after a few months of training and Seth-stress release, she became happier, but her confidence was shattered more than before, the only people she could talk to were her friends. Yet something unexpected happened, she started having feelings for one, and her friend was a she. Ties with the friend became broken, she didn't want these feelings, what would her father think?
For summer she returned to Japan and got an internship at a massive toy company and became a self-kept personal assistant, but in her free-time she went online keeping in touch with those she didn't break connections with. Then one day half way through the summer, she emailed her, wanting to know what happened and Natsuki had to confess, she apologized for her behaviour, and how much it pained her to stop their friendship, but her feelings were not natural and being around her would only make things worse. The girl understood and told her "be who you want to be, not who you are meant to be." and Natsuki cherished this, this loving feeling, the advice, being there for her. This love she never experienced, she had no mother to show her love like this, where as her father raised her by telling her what he expected from her and barking orders. Chalking it down to misplaced feelings she worked her way through summer and returned to school rather happy. Summer war-stories were exchanged and friendships were re-connected. Everything was going swell, but Natsuki still felt something was wrong, something was missing from her life and half way through the first term her friend she thought she misplaced her feelings for kissed her and these feelings were no longer family-love, but actual feelings. It still wasn't right though, being in America, living a complete unrecognizable life to what she had back home, she just couldn't do it, so she requested to her father to switch to a uni back home after the term was finished and he agreed it would be best and sorted out the arrangements.
Her last week in America was exciting, she done all the silly little things she would not be able to do again, and one thing she would miss was the American fashion and culture. One of her last night was heart-filled goodbyes, tears filled her eyes and heart - and she said goodbye to her most likely for the last time. Returning to Japan was horrible, she started to feel repressed again, but she fought through it, her reasons for returning home were to become that girl she was in America in Japan because she didn't want to run away anymore. Unpacking her final things she found a note saying those words that were once said to her and Natsuki knew everything would be OK, she would become who she was meant to be, not who her father wanted to be. Yet it's not that simple, but she will get there, she is strong, and when she rebuilds herself she will do great things, but in the mean time, she will need to keep it all in, and maybe to some more stress-relief fighting with punch bag.
My little secrets!:
Natsuki loves studying computer science and technology development, it all happened when she was a little girl and her brother told her the legends of persocoms and chobits. Something about it sparked love in her heart and she dreamed it was real, but she never believed it would happen, so she is unaware of recreation of the persocoms. She lives in her own apartment and is in her third year of university, and also works as a personal assistant at one of Tokyo's most popular toy companies in dreams of one day owning her own successful company to exceed her father, get involved in some form of robotics/software development, or somehow combining both dreams.
The first thing she wants to create robotic software to help train in fighting/combat as it personally helped her and she hopes it could help others channel their anger.
