- First and foremost: please respect the GMs/those of us who run the show. We’re quite friendly, but won’t hesitate to lay the smack down. The same goes for your fellow players. Babysitting is not in our job descriptions.
Check all asshats (and boobhats) at the door. What does this mean? Don’t be a jerk. Play nice.
We’re not enforcing any “literacy” levels. If you can write a paragraph with solid grammar and spelling then you’re good to go, ideally though, Quality over Quantity is strongly desired.
Please refrain from decorating your posts with an assortment of pictures, song lyrics and other embellishments. Anything more than a header with a character’s name, location, who they’re with or time of day is susceptible to deletion at any time. Basic information like location/groups is useful in a busy thread so other players will know who is where and anyone they’re with. Your trendy post styles are not welcome here.
Any and all artwork (not photography) used must either be yours, or being used with permission. Please do not steal art from DA and call it your "OC" or your creature unless you have been given permission or commissioned/drew it yourself. With artists amongst our ranks, we take this very seriously.
Keep all text above size 9, alternatively, obnoxiously large text (20 and above) is not going to be tolerated unless there is some clearly defined need. The same goes for obnoxious and illegible colors. Things like pink, yellow, light gray and electric blue/green make eyes bleed. Don’t use them.
Quotes have a time and a place. Don’t quote yourself, and don’t consistently quote the post right above yours. Use Quotes sparingly. Very sparingly. Quoting is better used to inform people in the OOC thread that you have responded, or quoting a small piece of a person’s post for emphasis. Quote towers (3 or more quotes in a post) are subject to demolition.
OOC belongs in the proper thread, obviously. When it comes to OOC chatter, keep the drama, negativity and poor attitudes in check. Do yourselves a favor and think before you type.
Only submit as many characters as you can reasonably handle. Don’t submit 10 characters and never play them.
