 Rika was suprised as she realised that the men hadn't the intention of staying for too long. She was also angered. She stopped, with her back to them, and her voice deepened once more;
"Those who come and leave never do return...it's a pity that inevitability cannot be changed..." she told them, before continuing to walk.
Her voice now back to the way it should be, Rika skipped playfully, her long hair coursing around her. "Well, we have spaces at my home, the Furude Shrine! You two can stay there for a while!" Rika's parents were alive at this point.
Rika arrived at the house with the two men, at the bottom of a very long, steep stone staircase. A large shrine arch decorated the way, which was lined with thick tall trees and short bright flowers. Rika hummed as she ascended the staircase to her front door.

 Jack's attention was caught as the young girl stated where she lived. "You live at the shrine? That's a coincidence....May I speak with your parents?" Jack hoped that maybe he might get some answers there. If not then it was back to hunting around the murder scene. Hopefully though, if that was the case, with Mathew's help (and maybe Rika's) he might actually find something that would help his investigation. Speaking of Mathew, Jack turned to look back at the young man who seemed to be caught up in his own thoughts. "Hey kid!"Jack motioned to the blonde to hurry up, as he had started to fall behind. He glanced at the bear the man was holding, maybe it was a gift or something? It was strange whatever it was. It seemed to watch you almost as if it were alive.

 Mathew jumped when Jack called out to him, he still wasn't used to being noticed. Now to just try and get the other nations to notice him... That'll be impossible... "Ah, I'm sorry."Canada hurried up and went to walk beside Jack, clutching Kumajiro to his chest. He looked down his small polar bear before looking back up at Jack. "Sorry again, but where are we going, eh? I... Kind of zoned out back there."The canadian chuckled nervously, a small, shy smile on his face.

Rika stopped at the door, her hand hovering over the handle as the elder man asked to talk with her parents. "I don't know if that is wise," she advised, once again dark. But when she turned around, a giant smile beamed on the young girl's face. "They are usually very busy," she continued, now opening the door and skipping in.
"Mama? Papa?" she called out, but there was simply no answer. Puzzled and a little worried, Rika started to search the house, wandering off from the two men that she had only just met. An eerie silence had captured the house and was refusing to let up, only sending chills down each inhabitant's spines. Rika called again, but there was still no answer.
As the young girl neared the rear of the house, a horrific stench began to fill her nostrils. Strange. Searching all but the final room, she found nothing, then at the last door, she felt a sudden hesitation to enter. Inhaling sharply (and then regretting it) she flung the door open. Just seconds later her shrill scream rattled through the house.
Her parents lay in the center of the floor, their throat shredded open. Their eyes were bloodshot and their fingers were caked in a drying dark red substance. Blood had sprayed over their clothes and the floor. Rika span from the room, charging past the two men and out of the door, where she turned her stomach out into the shrubs, salty tears collecting at the corners of her lips.

As soon as Rika screamed, Jack reached for his handgun. When the young girl ran past them he instructed Mathew to go check on her. Cautiously, Jack crept down the corridor. He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end as he made his way down towards the room the young girl had ran from. "Just calm down..."He mumbled to himself as the stench hit him making him raise a hand to cover his nose. Stood in the doorway, Jack surveyed the horrific scene before him. The detective turned to face away from it, his vision swimming, and lent against the door frame. "Bloody hell.."This was just his luck. This meant he would probably be in this creepy village even longer. He shook his head and headed back down the corridor. He'd have a proper look at the crime scene later. As he got closer to the entrance he stopped suddenly. There was something wrong. He heard another footstep after he had stopped walking. Was there someone else in here? He turned to look but found there was nothing there. (( /throws ))

Mathew nodded towards Jack when he told him to go out and check on Rika. The small polar bear he held in his arms rubbed his nose with his paw as the stench room the room Rika had ran from reached him. "Blood."Canada tightened his grip on Kumajiro slightly before turning and walking briskly out the door heading towards where the young girl stood by the shrubs, emptying her stomach and crying. The young nation shifted the small bear he held so he would be able to hold him with one arm and placed his now free hand on Rika's back. He rubbed soothing circles on her back and hummed a gentle tune to a song France used to sing to him when he was still just a small colony (and was noticed by others) and had woken up from a bad dream to try and calm the girl down.
