So, you've just got your Meta. You're excited. You've made your journal... now what? How do you get your Metas to the next stage? How do you make sure you're within activity guidelines? Look no further, all of that information is in this post.

Growth Requirements

Growth requirements are simple. Very simple... we like simple here at Meta.
When writing diary entries, PLEASE specify what stage its for! It makes it a lot easier for me when I'm updating the growth lists to see that so-and-so's entry is for the child stage, rather than me having to figure out whether or not its the child or teen stage or something. c:

Toddler ---> Child
1 roleplay (6 posts or more, or multiple roleplays)
2 first person journal entries
1 month of time.

Child ---> Teen
1 roleplay (6 posts or more, or multiple roleplays)
2 first person journal entries
3 months of time (if you're active, we'll cut a month off of that)

Teen ---> Adult
1 roleplay (6 posts or more, or multiple roleplays_
2 first person journal entries
5 months of time (if you're active, we'll cut a month off of that)

Adult ---> Elder
1 roleplay (6 posts or more, or multiple roleplays)
2 first person journal entries
10 months of time (if you're active, we'll cut a month off)
Complete the Elder Quest

Activity Requirements

So you're too busy to do any journal updates, let alone post in a roleplay, but you want to keep your child. What do you do?

Well, our activity policy is this:

If you're inactive for two months we'll send you a PM asking where you are... if you don't respond by the time a third month goes by, we'll rehome your child. (UNLESS they are a custom.)

So how do you make sure you're active?
Just say "hello" in the shop. Really. That's all we want. Let us know you're busy, or you've got writers block, or you're just not in the mood.

What if you're going to be gone for three months?
Let us know beforehand please! If you can give us an estimated return date that would be even better. :3 We're always willing to work with owners on activity.
