xxxxx↠ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? We're going to do great! Bieito walked out toward the pitch, thinking on potential new strategies for this year. It was going to be an all-out fight for the cup this year, especially considering that Ravenclaw had held it two years in a row. Lewis was a super kind person, but man, he was a threat during games. Not that Bee was super concerned, of course. Charlotte was absolutely crushing it too. She'd only narrowly been eked out by Csuri last year, which was a difficult feat, given the Slytherin's dedication to practice. Though he had a feeling that the wild card would come down to Gryffindor. Poor Sebastian hadn't had the good fortune to win any games... but if he did, Bieito secretly hoped they'd be against Ravenclaw and Slytherin. He wanted the kid to win, but not so much that he wanted his team to lose. As he worked to get everything set up, Bieito hummed along to a song in his head. It's one Milan had been listening to over the summer, meaning it had wedged firmly in the younger teen's head. On top of the tryout forms went his little Eifel Tower paperweight, which sparkled lazily in the morning sunlight. Perfect. He started some stretches as he waited on his teammates to join him. Clubs Will go here when steffy remembers ▬▬"If I can make someone smile, even just for a moment, I’ll give everything I have to do it."▬▬ Henrick was excited for quidditch this year, Noah had graduated and had left a beater position open - and that was literally Henrick's dream position. however, Noah was the only one who graduated. He knew it was pretty common to have the starting lineup keep the start until they left, unless some prodigy came out. Based on practices and the skirmish last year though...Henrick didn't stand much of a chance. He had heard some of the. third years were going to go for the beater postion too. He got to the tryouts as early as he could, hoping to make a good impression.

Another year of Quidditch was started and Kavi was excited for the game, even if he more than likely was going to ride the bench again this year. Mostly because he wasn't enjoying the beater position and had decided over the summer that he wanted to try playing Seeker instead. Charlotte was still here, so he wouldn't play this year, but he could definitely learn the position better. Vik had teased him for wanting to play Seeker, because it would put him more into the spotlight than Kavi usually liked, but he had rebuked his brother's teasing. After all, he could very easily just slip away from the limelight if he needed to. Joining the team on the pitch, Kavi waved to everyone, said a brief hello, then started doing warm ups to prep for try-outs.

Fiadh hadn't expected her fifth year to be carrying a prefects badge. However that was how it started. As such she took to her role on the train ride to Hogwarts. Then she helped with leading the first years to the common room, not an overly hard feat. Once classes were in full swing Fiadh was desperately waiting for Quidditch to start up. It was one of her top priorities. Thus the morning of tryouts, Fi headed down to the great hall for breakfast before making her way to the pitch. The fifth year believed this season would go well. Ravenclaw couldn't hold onto the cup for much longer and that meant it would be another house's time to shine. Fiadh hoped that meant Hufflepuff. Filling out the form she hoped to she was right about this.

‘Time to make the best of it,’ Rey thought as she made her way to the Quidditch pitch for tryouts. It was hard to be enthused when she knew the results from the outset. She was going to try out for her Keeper’s position, and, no matter how good a show of it she had, be placed behind Emily on the depth chart, and never play a meaningful match unless she took ill again, as she had last season, or managed to get picked for another pick-up match, or Sixth Year, after Emily graduated. As Captains and Vice-Captains were assured of their positions on the squad, and rightly so, barring certain events, Rey’s season would be over by lunchtime she reckoned.
She could take some solace from her performance in last spring’s pickup match where she managed at least one or two saves by all rights she shouldn’t have, and bested poor Finn’s save total in three seasons in one match. Rey considered trying to switch to Beater, and the results of her attempts to learn the position were … painful. Her lack of athletic prowess which used to doom her to being picked last for kickball and other games at her old school carried over, as she couldn’t get the hang of hitting a Bludger and getting it to go where she wanted it to go. After needing bones set again, she realized she, and the team, were better off with her staying where she was. Besides, it made more sense for a Knapp to be a Beater than she; the family seemed like they were …like genetically predisposed to it.
Arriving wearing jeans and a dusky-yellow Hufflepuff Quidditch hooded sweatshirt, the little redhead went over to fill out a form before. ‘Okay, I’m just here to fly around, have some laughs and fun with my friends, and that’s it. All I’m going to be is ‘the spare’ anyway, so best to make the best of it. Just need to remember to smile and be positive, so I don’t ruin the day for everyone else; they don’t need to know I already know my fate.’

Fencing ❦ Quidditch  ▬▬"Just be yourself - there is no one better."▬▬ Flick skipped to the quidditch field, they couldn't wait. Sure, they probably wouldn't play because they had been gone for a few years, but Flick had been keeping up with practicing...never actually playing at Salem but ya know, it happened. Flick loved being back at Hogwarts, the air here was just different than Salem and it was glorious. Unfortunately, Flick didn't know half of the players. Bieito had been in the same year as they were, Emily and Fiadah were first years during Flick's last year here, and then there was Henrick who Flick was very familiar with. They filled out the form for try-outs and then stood by Henrick, messing with his hair as he gave a huff and stuck his tongue out at Flick. Flick stood quietly, waiting for the tryouts to start.
