Jazz was pretty heckin' excited for Quidditch this year. They'd been thinking about it all summer! Well, not all summer. Most of it was occupied by the family moving to Liverpool for Mam's new job, plus Vikram's super-duper fancy wedding. The rest was filled up with trying to find time to spend with friends. They had also gotten a gift of new Seeker gear from their parents, which was super awesome. Pair that with the new broom Vikram gave them last year, and they were going to make waves this year. Walking onto the pitch, Jazz offered a wave to their friends gathered, then filled out their sign-in form. It would be a great year for sure!

Finn found he was hopeful about this year’s campaign for the Cup. Last year, the Lions were in the hunt all the way to the end, but this year, they’d have an edge in that Seb was the most senior Seeker among the teams. Granted, it meant every Bludger was likely to have his name on it, but they had an edge, maybe even enough to earn the Lions a Cup. After so many years of waiting, hopefully, this was their year.
The Sixth Year was the first to admit he didn’t train much over the summer, not from a lack of effort, but a lack of time. He took an internship, which had him out of the country for much of the summer, and Finn toured with the Hares in Europe. Beyond that, he was turning out miniatures for Castle Creations and making time to be with Rey when she really needed him to be there for her. Much to his chagrin, he didn’t get any practice time until about a couple of weeks before he departed for school.

Ceri was excited for Quidditch this year. She had a real chance of being on the main team! It was mostly between herself and Alynn, and both had proved themself skilled. They'd been on opposing teams in last year's scrimmage game, but she hoped it was enough to help her push over the edge. She really wanted to be one of the starting players! After a breakfast with her brother, he bid her good luck, then went to take a nap. She hurried outside, tying her hair in a messy bun as she waited for the chance to fly.

I can't wait to play Quidditch Caoimhe was excited for the Quidditch try-outs, even though she already knew the position she wanted to try out for wouldn't be available for a couple years. Some might say she was following in her big brother's footsteps for wanting to play Beater, but she really wanted to do it to prove she was better than him. At least, that's what she would tell people. She'd never admit that he was really good already and that she wanted to beat him because of that. The girl got down to the pitch as early as she could, then grabbed a broom from the loaner barrel. She wasn't allowed to have her own broom yet and her parents refused to buy her one to sneak into the school. So for now, she'd have to settle on these. At least they looked a lot newer than what she was expecting. She also grabbed a sign in sheet and quickly scribbled her information onto it. xxxxx✿ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? Tough battle today! Róisín was very excited for the try-outs today even though she knew she was likely to wind up on the reserve team again. There were still a large crop of older students that wanted to place Chaser that she wasn't likely to get it. But that wasn't going to stop her from trying out, and she could always play in the scrimmage game when that came around. She needed to get out and try her new broom too! She hadn't been able to fly it in her neighborhood since she lived in a Muggle area in Dublin. The gymnast made her way down to the pitch and greeted her friends, then signed the forms. After filling out the form, she did some warm up activities. Leo was running behind in his hope to be at the pitch on time. He'd been anticipating walking down with his twin, but when he looked up from conversation with MJ, Nicko was gone. Thankfully, his older brother reminded him it was time to go to tryouts. With a small huff, Leo ran outside. When he got to the pitch, the Slytherins were long gone, replaced by a handful of Gryffindors. Oh well. Leo went to do the paperwork first, since it was the most boring part for sure. He glanced up into the stands, confident that before long his entire family would be there watching him play.

Lynx had heard about Quidditch and asked around, sports had always been a thing Lynx liked so why not magic sports. They studied the different positions and the game itself. Come tryout Lynx joined their fellow classmates on the pitch. They saw there was a form to fill out. No "don't sue if you get hurt” waiver or health screenings? Heck yea. They turned the form in eagerly hoping they could play what they wanted.

 It was crazy for Xeno to think that this was her last year at Hogwarts and last year playing quidditch. In some ways, she was sort of excited, though. Her plans were more or less set for after graduation. She had already been accepted for training as a mediwizard. Zack had been so offended when she'd told him she didn't want to play quidditch professionally, but eventually said he wanted to get her a place as "team healer" for Wimbourne, but, well, she'd believe it when she saw it. Until then, she'd be happy working under St. Mungo's. For now, however, she was going to focus on quidditch. She clasped her broom and tried to put on a content smile.

Bowtan headed down to the pitch with her usual pep in her step. She always looked forward to tryouts. Every year she would come down, join her friends, and have some fun on the field. Art Club • Culinary Club • Herbology Club • Art of the Sword • Quidditch â–¬"I don’t need to be the center of attention"â–¬ Peggy kicked at the grass on her way to the Quidditch pitch, broom dragging behind her. Another year, another tryout. You’d think once would be enough to prove she could actually stay on a broom, but apparently not. She squinted toward the sky—it was too bright, too early, and way too full of overachievers stretching like they owned the place.
She tightened her grip on her broom handle and tried to look unfazed. Cool. Collected. Totally not worried. Except maybe a little worried. Okay, fine—very worried.
She straightened up, ran a hand through her hair, and muttered under her breath, “Alright, Peggy. You’ve got this. Probably.” Then, with a deep breath and the most casual walk she could fake, she stepped onto the field.

Clubs will go here ▬▬"Tuesdays always feel like a secret"▬▬ Vee walked out to the field, it was another nice day, if only it were Tuesday. The sun made the grass sparkle in a way that felt almost too perfect, and she let herself pause a moment to just watch it, broom tucked under her arm. She wandered slowly to the edge of the field, letting the soft breeze lift her hair and make her feel light.
She took a deep breath, let her shoulders relax, and let the day wash over her. She was here. She was ready. And somehow, that was exactly enough.
