True love means putting the other person's happiness and needs before yours. Soul mates do exist but sometimes they take a little looking for.

Well, I guess true love depends mostly on what's happening in your life at the moment. Because it seems that every teen movie finds their "true love" by senior year, but what's there to look forward to? I suppose I only believe in finding your soul mate and true love for the active search people put in to find that person. If you look for so long and find them it seems so much better than it already is, if you don't find it you can still settle down if you want.

But on a more serious note, yes, I believe true love by many common definitions is very possible. I don't, however, believe that there's only one chance at it and if you miss that it's gone.
