I just remembered another prank that the boys pulled that went terribly wrong.... Theres this tuba player that nobody really likes b/c he's kind of a p***k. They decided that when he was taking a shower they were going to replace his body wash with icy-hot. (apparently when put on a guys private parts, it REALLY hurts!!) So they did it. 5 minutes later he walks out of the shower and everybody's waiting for him to start yelling his head off. He doesn't. Some genious asks him what shower he was in and he says the middle. The guys then realize they pranked the wrong guy!! This kid (i'm going to call him B) walks out crying his eyes out. Everybody felt bad because B is a little bit slow (if you catch my drift)

Last Year, our band made shirts for all members with our Director's yearbook photo on it without telling him and we all wore the shirts on Dome Day.
Also, the Seniors last year filled the parking lot with sand to make a beach day. It was A LOT of sand.

Today the seniors had a meeting about what our senior prank is going to be. We haven't decided yet, but we have been discussing. We still ahve a while to work it out. I was getting a bit annoyed myself though, becaus emost of the pransk are towards our bd, not the band in general, and not many people will know about them really.
Ideas:
1) Our bd is deathly afraid of most bugs, namely crickets, grasshoppers, spiders and roaches. Buy a bunch of crickets from the pet store and put the bags of them everywhere she can see it, like on her car, in her office, etc. (Not set loose, of course.)
2) Fill her car/office with balloons. Pink ones. she ahtes pink.
3)Put her car on the practice football fields surrounded by all the senior cars. (I pointed out that this could be considered stealing...)
4) Plastic wrapping her car. (We dismissed this one. Its way too hot here, and could ruin the paint job on ehr car. We don't want to break anything...)
5) This one is actually planned and decided upon but our dm's mom(both dms are seniors) is buying us all different colored plumes, which we will swap out our real uniform plumes with and we will get to keep them. This is for the Senior Night game.
6) Another one we have decided on, since both oru dms are seniors, we are goign to sto and the seniors are going to come forward and play our favorite song from oru freshman year, likely Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses. Which will be funny in a way, since our current show is Beethoven.
7) Soembody pointed out wrapping our BD's car in toilet paper and wetting it, but we decided agaisnt it, since our school is prone to "somebody did this, lets add to it to make it worse" mentality. We are worried that if we do that, kids are goign to a) do it to other teacher's cars, or b) egg it/set it on fire/sprapaint it/etc.
Also, part of the original balloon plan wwas fillign ehr car with balloons and putting the car int he courtyard of the school. Problems; how.
(By the way, she ahs a tiny car. So some of the ideas for moving it were jsut picking it up. Or pushing. but it is alarmed. Shes quite paranoid really.)

(sorry for double posting)
So our senior night is tomorrow, and we finally decided on a prank. Our bd warned us that she would bench all 22 of us for the entire game if it was something bad. We already planned something that wasn't bad. What she doesn't know is that our band is good at doing funny, harmless pranks, like uniform alterations. We are all goody goody kids, beause our old bd taught us to be the pride of the school(teachers love us, principle knows us because he never sees us, and hardly if any of us do drugs or are sexually active, not because we aren't popular enough to get a date but because we don't want to be.) So she doesn't know that she should expect little bad things from us.
Our prank? Switching our black gloves and plumes with gold ones(for our school colors green and gold) and our dms are going to call the band to parade rest and the seniors are going to come forward and play a song fro our freshman yer. Like I said, nothing bad. Bt it is something never tried before; nobody from our school has had the guts to stop the entire band and come forward to play a song they haven't looked at but for 4 rehearsals in the past 4 years.(we've had a few secret rehearsals to work on it.) The only 'bad' thing we did involving it; we got the drama teacher to sneak us into the band room one morning, stayed in there fr 20 minutes to rehearse, then ran out like we had never been there before the bd got there.

so i have this really bad smelling slide grease for my trumpet. every time we get a new jazz band member i tell them it smells amazing and for some reason they always smell it

This is going to happen,but here how it goes.. It started with This song.Our only sax player that's able to play figured out the keys.Our music teacher Mrs.Poon actually said,'Practice Careless Whisper more,we're actually going to play it at the next assembly." We all laughed and our sax player started practicing.We're thinking to dress him up too.This is going to be bomb,I can't see our principle's face when she gets interrupted by 'Sexy Sax Aaron' (The new name we gave him.)

So, one pep band, a few of my trumpet buds decided it would be a good idea to dissassemble every part of a friend's trumpet, including the tops and bottom screws of the valves. He was so po'd when he got back xD

So at band camp we have senior day and all of the sopmores were planing our senior prank and all of my friends and I were like our senior prank we going to be to kidnap band kids one at a time starting with freshman and going up to juniors. So then the director would be like wtf. And only leaving all of the seniors. Idk if we are going to do it but it would be hilarious.
