Yeah. If you place the Top following:

10th - 4th: 10,000 gold.
3rd: 20,000 gold.
2nd: 30,000 gold.
1st: 50,000 gold.

Kind of pointless, since 50k is not that much nowadays.
I'd prefer a Soulbound Item, tbh.

There used to be medals awarded for something, but I don't remember what. I vaguely remember it having something to do with avatars but I don't know if they still do that.

The art arena isn't ranked though. It might have been when avatars were rated in the forums before there was an actual arena in place. The item descriptions just say 'contest' - it doesn't specify what they were associated with.
