Ahh I went to this amazing rave on Saturday night,
best I've been to in months. The vibes were perfect, so much PLUR,
the music was incredible and the people were wonderful heart

So I walked outside for a cigarette around 1am or so and this is what I found;

This song blasting from a car in the middle of the street-

(youtube thing isn't working hmm)

and ravers in the street!?

I wish I could find a video of what was going on because a lot of people were recording it.

Nocturnal Rituals 4 was one of the best raves I've been to, thank you Paradox Productions<3
They know how to throw a rave and they do it for all the right reasons.
It's ridiculous how a ten dollar party turns out to be A MILLION times better than some thirty dollars parties I've been to.
So much loveeeee! 3nodding

Looks like a very cool time there. I would love to have seen it in person and raved the night away. Also yeah I've had some more fun at the smaller production raves than the higher priced ones. Mainly I find the more expensive ones are doing it as a business sense and not for the people sense.

It was amazing. I hope there's more events like that. The vibes at the more mainstream raves are always so off lately. It seems they only care about making money and they attract the sketchiest people ever):

Seriously the bigger ones are being run over by all the scene kids and those who are there for the wrong reasons. It irritates me so much. Especially if they don't even know the name of at least one of the DJ's spinning that night. I'm like wow and then walk away from them. Here's to the original underground and the ravers who know what raving is all about.

Really? ahaha so sketch. In NYC the bigger companies are run by like "club kids" and random a** people who aren't even ravers it makes zero sense.

Cali is being run over with those "club kids" If you look at the Northern California scene alot of it has gone underground and less mainstream because they saw the "club kids" ruining the scene. Southern California the raves are plastered everywhere. You see fliers on cars in parking lots like grocery stores and all over the internet and well every single person can find out about them, so acourse the more people know the higher chance you have people there for the wrong reason. I don't mind looking at a girl in a skimpy outfit, but when all you see if girls in lingerie and pasties it loses it's appeal. I miss the old days when a girl and a guy actually took the time to dress up for the rave and make there outfit cute and not just oh how much skin can I show. Ha ha.

That's how it's getting here and it's really annoying. Clubbers and ravers don't go together. We all like electronic dance music but our attitudes and lifestyles are completely different. Clubbers are uptight and cocky and rude and blahhh and ravers are obviously nothing like that lol.

I enjoy wearing skimpy outfits but I'm always well put together with it and I plan my outfits out or make them in advance. Idk I'd just rather not wear clothes.

Yeah I have been seeing alot of mixing of crowds which I love it brings us together, but unfortunately instead of us all being there to enjoy the music I see fights breaking out and people not being nice. You still see the nice people, but it's like they are becoming a rare breed or something. Oh your pic you posted that was well put together. Yes it was showing skin, but it wasn't just you slapping on a bra and panty. You actually put some thought into it to make it look cute which is what I miss from the old days.

I've been seeing a lot of the same in the past few months. I'm getting tired of not feeling safe at parties and worrying about getting my stuff stolen even. It wasn't like that a year ago. I stay in the scene because even with all the grime, there's still so much good in it, you just have to find it ahah. and thank you lol. I hate when girls do that, it's usually the really young ones too. It's pretty unsettling seeing 14 year olds acting like hoes and it's not even just how they dress, I see them get with mad different guys for drugs blehh.

Yeah like I used to let people borrow my glowsticks or photons for lightshows, but now it's like I have to watch them like a hawk to make sure they will return back what they borrowed. Yeah I will always be in the rave scene. I might stop going to them, but will always be around and keep up to date with it.
