TVs will stay. They're just screens that we use to view information. Networks will go because they no longer have information worth viewing.
And I apologize for this, but I don't give a damn about what the medium does to their stanzas. I do not consider that a worthy enough excuse for them to abandon the profession. Much of written media do not need such precise formatting and translate fine. Quality of words and meaning are not affected because they're pixels instead of ink. The problem is that they will be easier to pirate. People involved with video/film would actually benefit from the transition. Without lucrative incentives and the competition though, it'd be a hard job. Music, however is understandable. You cannot mimic the artist's presence through mp3s or livestreams.
...I just realized if everything was digital, we'd save the planet's resources... Computer addictions are good for the planet!
If possible could you give links for time stats? I find it hard to believe they would not notice something like that.

Given book sales are what brings income, and how Tokyopop's reputation is still in tact --They're still open in Europe- This feels like an issue around an inability to get money more than poor choices. Without the money, they can't keep making poor choices. Not in NA!
I do not know what Kodansha has given TP permission to license, but it seems the titles are still safe. I checked the site and it seems they have an international department to pick up the slack.

Exactly my point. It was not a top priority. They would have devoted more picking up the feature if they wanted the feedback to be good. It is treated like a pet project to whatever brings in more attention.

Yes, but each source must have everything. Gaia needs porn and news, not just pop. culture. Tokyopop is too shonen and shoujo, where the seinen at? Viz has things for both adults and kids; A+)

Now I'm not so pretentious or disappointed that I'd give publishers or society instructions on how to run things, but yes "no risk, no reward" is one of my universe's fundamental laws.

Butt yee! The non-fiction titles like Archie and Calvin and Hobbes are before my time. I was also thinking of the Boondocks and Basic Instructions, but they're on the web. Newspaper comics are not real comics. Just pictures and jokes that aren't funny.

Garfield disagrees. And Calvin and Hobbes was originally a newspaper comic as well, the books are just collections of those strips (and now the only place to find them).

The TV has bigger functions and is geared to entertainment. Sound and screen is bigger. You can connect it to your hard drive and use the internet there as well.
I believe it still has purpose and will stay, even with computers being more popular.

I knew that mega quoting wouldn't work. Stupid Gaia hasn't updated anything! evil Oh and actually e-waste is WORST on our planet than just paper. As paper is recyclable whereas it takes a LOOOOOOOONG time for an i-pad to break down. So no we are going to kill our planet and probably end up like Wall-E living in Goggle Ships or i-space pods. (Watch it's gonna happen)

I am glad I could give everyone some insight though and why I am sooo super disappointment in fans and in companies.

I have not read any comics in the funny papers in years. I know that Cathy, Blondie, and other classics aren't running anymore. I wonder if Baby Blues and Zits though...

Well they have e-recycle but watch dog groups and the like have reported that it takes a LOT longer for e-books to break down than actual paper. Also, its a lot harder to use old e-books than actual books for something else. I don't think we will be seeing too many products with labels like "made from recycled ipads" So while they do have the centers and stuff it doesn't do a lick of good. All they do is just burn them which also isn't all that great for our planet. *shrugs*

I'm all for science but like Al from FMA said. It has to help the Earth and humanity otherwise it may as well just be theories.
