Tonight I went to a friend's and we did some yoga. Come home and every one is pissed to hell off. My brother got a lift from my dad, and the tire blew out on the high way, this was clearly MY fault, for not being home because somehow it wouldn't have happened if I'd been driving. No one saved me any food, and I was pretty peed off from being attacked about actually going to see a friend instead of being at my brother's beck and call. So I didn't feel like cooking, I had a chocolate bar for dinner and went to my room. Only none of the lights were working.
Me to mom "so you were in my room again hun?"
Mom "nnnooo"
Me"well nothing works"
Mom" well you must have blown a fuze"
Me" yes, IIII blew a fuze while I wasn't home, I'm that talented"
Mom" well just go flip the switch in the fuze box"
I go downstairs, find the fuze for my room, flip it back. Go back upstairs. Lights are on. My blinds are drawn, I sure didn't close em. I get that she has serious OCD issues and HAS to constantly be in my room rearanging my stuff, but then don't like about it.
Anyway, I'm beyond frustrated now. I NNEEEEEDD out of here. I never imagined at 23yrs I'd be living with my parents. My friend offered me to move in with her. But her 2 bedroom apartment contains a 4month old kitten, a 2yr old Pit Bull that Cowboy doesn't get along great with, a rat and two turtles. I could MAYBE take Rascal and the vermin. Though I think Rascal would be really freaked out about the big rough rambunctious dog. But I can't bring another dog into that apartment let alone one that doesn't like their dog. I don't trust my family to take care of my pets. If I leave them behind they will NOT be cared for.
So here's my solution. A third job. Thoughts on this? If I could manage three jobs this summer, I could pay off my debt and save enough money to stay in school till I graduate in two years. I was hoping maybe a vet clinic would hire me for a few nights a week. I've already renewed my summer contract 10-6 Monday-Friday and doing 12-5 at the pet store Sundays.

well,if you think you can do it,and you wont be going to school in the summer,you might be able to pull it off,you could always give it a try....

I'm gona apply at a few places, and see if anyone is willing to hire me for so few hours. Maybe it turns out one of these clinics pays better than my bike patrol if that were the case and they could offer full time hours, then I could just forget bike patrol this summer.
I am thinking that it would be very beneficial to my education to work in a clinic over the summer to not forget everything. But I think financially and, to not be totally exhausted and actually enjoy summer a few days a week. I could work the two jobs I already have, so Saturdays off. And take part in medical studies once a month. I'm doing one now which is perfect, Friday night till Sunday morning and I get a month's worth of pay in just 1 day, 2nights. The trick is, finding a study that doesn't interfere with any important frisbee trials.

Could you offer to pay your mom rent in exchange for not going in your room and not making you be your brother's slave girl? Probably be cheaper than having your own place at this point. 3 jobs and school will probably drive you up a tree.

The bike patrol thing is a summer contract that lasts all of 11 weeks. And i've tried that. Please believe me when I say she has a mental disorder she can't NOT go through my things. She once went in my closet found my laungerie and folded it and put it in my cupboard because she decided I didn't have enough available hangers. If I want anything hidden from her it stays locked in my car that is the only thing that is safe. And my parents don't make me his slave, not anymore anyway. He does that. He guilt trips me into it. I've only had a car a year and a half, before that he would give me lifts for the past like...8yrs or so. I can't remember how old I am right now LOL. that's sad. Plus he always buys me expensive things and I can never afford to do the same for him so the is the only way I can pay him back. I was literally on my way to yoga one morning and I had to drop my friend off, and leave cause he was hungover and was begging me to get him he could not wait one hour.
