I think DnB is faster and in my opinion has more energy.

Drum and bass is generally "breakbeat" but its not always the case. "Breakbeat" is just a really fast drum beat. And breakcore..you got me. Sounds like some emo s**t. Prolly just cuz it has Core it in. But if I were to make a guess, "break core" is music that has breakbeat "drops" if you will, or has breakbeat but it isn't the focal point.

lots of edm has "core" in it, not cuz of hardcore rock, but because the is also a genre of edm called hardcore.

breakbeat is generallyy a drum style with amen breaks. (no drums in the last quarter of a measure) its used in hip hop. breakcore is basically breakbeat on crack.
