The Rinnegan
 The Rinnegan is one of the three great dōjutsu in the series and said to be the most powerful of them all. Its occurrence is so rare that many people once believed its existence was only a legend or a mutation.The Rinnegan is characterized by a ripple-like pattern around the pupil, with a light purple iris and sclera. In addition to enabling the user to quickly master various jutsu, the user may also use all six forms of chakra nature transformation which, as noted by Ibiki Morino, literally allows its user to use any technique they wish. It also allows the user to use all of the six paths techniques, a series of ninjutsu unique to the Rinnegan user. Like the Sharingan and the Byakugan, the Rinnegan also allows the user to see chakra, including otherwise hidden barriers.
Within this timeline the Rinnegan hasn't been seen in its full form for hundreds of years, instead weaker versions of the eye have mutated and spread out amoung various family trees - which all link back towards the Sage of Six paths in one way or another. With each eye taken the original Rinnegan becomes a step closer to full completion and full power. Consider every technique used within each path to be of equal level to the ranked user using it, and as such will have both the power and the draw backs relevent.
Six Paths Technique
The user, with the full Rinnegan in place, has the ability to re-animate bodies and separate the powers of their Rinnegan into each of them. All eyes are connected and while there is a limited range to the bodies, meaning the original user must be within the vicinity, there is no limit to their jutsu/power.
Chibaku Tensei
Chibaku Tensei is a special technique developed by the Sage of the Six Paths, who used it to create the moon and trap the Ten-Tailed Beast's body inside of it. The user creates a dark black sphere of gravity that, when thrown into the sky, attracts objects from all directions and pulls them into the sphere, compressing them together. The surrounding earth, including forests and mountains, are collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a large sphere. A large crater is left where the earth has been collected from.
Magic Lantern Body Technique
The members sit down and send out "thought waves" (思念波, shinenha), converted into chakra. These thought waves are then picked up by the user, acting as a kind of control tower. This technique amplifies the thought waves and broadcasts them to a specific location through illusionary bodies. The illusionary bodies differ from being mere reflections. While the user is relaying the members' thoughts, they can have conversation and use varying techniques. These virtual images looked like the member they represented, the only difference being that they are standing up with their hands in a seal. The images were also transparent, save for the eyes.

Animal Path  Buddhists believe in a realm of existence of the nonhuman animals on Earth, an unhappy plane of rebirth which revolves around ignorance, instinct, survival of the fittest, and servitude to humans. The Animal Path's main abilities revolved around summoning various animals and creatures to aid it in battle. Each creature serves a different purpose in battle. Tactics wise, the path's primary role in battle appeared to be overwhelming multiple opponents with its summons. Worthy of note, the Animal Path requires no blood sacrifice or hand seals to use the Summoning Technique. It holds the ability to summon up to two different summons at a time. If you sign a contract with this path it can physically summon another person to them also.
Giant Drill-Beaked BirdA large bird, this summon has a number of body piercings and Rinnegan. The bird itself is unusual, as not only does it demonstrate a prominent and jagged beak, but it also features three distinct legs (and wings within the manga). This summon can move at an incredibly fast speed, and can use that velocity combined with it's beak to form powerful dive attacks. In the anime, the bird had additional abilities where it could lay a large quantity of eggs, that subsequently explode like bombs and while flying low over Konoha produced dust clouds strewn with lightning in its wake.
Giant Multi-Headed DogA large, multi-headed dog with wings, this summon has a number of body piercings and Rinnegan. It was modified by using the Amplification Summoning Technique, so that it can split apart, when struck, into individual dogs that can then merge back together. It gains additional heads every time it splits in this way, and each duplicated head carries the Chakra Receiver and the Rinnegan like the original.
Giant Snake-Tailed ChameleonA large chimera-like chameleon with snake for a tail, this summon has a number of body piercings and Rinnegan. It has the ability to turn the summoner invisible to protect him and conceal his current location.
Giant PandaA large panda, this summon has a number of body piercings and Rinnegan. It has rock-like skin, making it a useful defense.
Giant OxWith an appearance similar to a large Ox, this summon has a number of body piercings, along with Rinnegan. It has a great amount of physical strength and able to take a lot of blunt hits, a good tank.
Giant CrustaceanA large crustacean, this summon has a number of body piercings. It is has the ability to use the Violent Bubble Wave jutsu

Asura Path  In Buddhism, the Asura Path is the realm of the demi-divine warring demons. They are sent to this plane because of actions based on jealousy, struggle, combat or rationalization of the world. Following a common depiction of Asura, this path has six arms and three faces, each of which display a different emotion.
Probably the most versatile of the paths outside Deva, the main ability of this is the fact the user has the knowledge to perform body modifications - not unlike Sasori's puppet transformation. The path itself grants the user with unrealistic strength, able to crush one's throat with a simple clench of the hand or able to throw another person the length of a village. It also has the durability one would expect from someone with android like body parts, because of this it is as close to immortal as one can get. It's body is able to detach and re-attach for attacks and is fully loaded with weapons and tricks, more may be added by the user that do not take up weapon space.
Laser Explosion
The Asura Path opens the top of its head, revealing a cannon of sorts. The cannon then releases a massive blast of chakra in the form of a laser, causing a powerful explosion that devastates the surrounding area.
Flaming Arrow of Amazing Ability
The Asura Path detaches and fires its hand like a rocket. Upon focusing chakra to the wrist, the hand will be launched towards the target. This chakra will also act like a magnet, to draw the hand back for reattachment. It also functions to protect the hand, allowing its powerful strike to severely damage rock, but not the hand itself.
Flaming Arrow Missiles
The Asura Path pulls out its hand, which is revealed to be connected to the arm by a thick cord with missiles attached to it. The missiles then can be launched, causing massive explosions. These missiles can also come out of the Asura Path's body, and launched at the opponents directly with a homing effect.
Chakra Propulsion Boots
The Asura Path utilizes chakra that shoots out of his boots to propel himself in a linear direction, greatly increasing his speed.

Deva Path  In Buddhism, the Deva realm is the realm of bliss. The Deva realm is sometimes also referred to as the 'gods realm', because, compared to humans, its inhabitants are so powerful that they could be compared to deities. However, beings born into the Deva realm are still subject to reincarnation. Devas suffer from pride and the knowledge that their long lives and powers will not prevent their eventual rebirth.
Its main abilities revolved around manipulating gravity, allowing it to repel or attract objects. However, it could not perform these techniques in rapid succession, leaving it vulnerable for a short period of time after each use. This period of time between usages varied from five seconds to several minutes, depending upon the force of the repulsion or attraction that the Deva Path had used. The Deva Path's Chibaku Tensei allowed it to release a black orb of energy that could attract all surrounding matter to form a huge makeshift terrestrial body.
In addition to his gravity manipulation this path has an affinity for Water. It can create and control rain, even sense a chakra disturbance within its rain fall as well as use several high-powered water techniques with ease.
Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave
The user spits out a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up and crushing the enemy with the advancing surge. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used. Afterward, the excess water can be used for additional water release jutsu.
Rain Tiger at Will
A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses.
Water Release: Violent Water Wave
Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.
Banshō Ten'in
Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it manipulates gravity at the users will, however instead of pushing objects away, it draws them towards the user. It has the same five second limit as the Shinra Tensei, but it is unknown if it can be used on a large scale like the Shinra Tensei.
Shinra Tensei
Shinra Tensei is the ability to manipulate gravity at the users will to repulse matter away. Depending on the amount of force the user puts in this jutsu, it can easily shatter wood, bones, stone, metal, or even some of the most powerful defenses. By using this technique as a defensive measure, all attacks directed to the user will be deflected, no matter the size, power or mass; however, it has been shown that it is possible to withstand this technique. The only downside to this technique is that there is a short period when it is unusable after being used. The minimal time period is about five posts but it varies depending on the amount of power put into the attack. Shinra Tensei can also be used on a larger scale for massive destruction. A massive gravity well is created above the target, crushing everything beneath in a titanic explosion. Using Shinra Tensei on this scale shortens the users lifespan and leaves them unable to use it again for the rest of the battle.

Human Path  In Buddhism, the Human realm (also known as the "Manuṣya realm") is based on passion, desire, doubt, and pride. It is widely believed that the Human realm is the form of rebirth most likely to attain enlightenment, due to both the availability of information and teachers, and the ability to reason without falling victim to the obsessive aggression or carnal delights inherited by the higher planes.
The Human Path was later shown to have the capability of mind reading simply by placing its hand over the target's head, and could extract any information or secret being hidden by the victim against his/her will, which also sucked the soul out of the target. It was also incredibly fast, able to move into the vicinity of several sensors before they could even detect him.
Soul Removal
By placing their hand on a target's head this technique allows the user to learn everything that the target knows. Once this is done, the target's soul is ripped from their body, killing them.
Shape-shifting Technique
With this technique the user allocates a portion of an individual's chakra and transfers it into a living human sacrifice. The human sacrifice takes on the appearance and abilities of the individual, essentially becoming a physically identical copy of them. The copy can then be controlled from a distance by the original and used to fight battles in their stead. The technique will imitate any weapons, tools or even kekkei genkai held by the original person, allowing the copy to fight with them. The power of the copy is in proportion to the volume of allocated chakra, which is decided by the user. All of the original's techniques are also available, yet once the chakra given to the copy runs out or the copy is defeated, the sacrifice will die and technique is canceled. Afterward the copy's appearance will revert back to the original appearance of the sacrifice.

Naraka Path  In Buddhism, the Naraka realm, or "hell realm", is a plane of rebirth, based on Karma (actions of body, speech, and mind) built up in a previous life or lives. There are various Naraka, each containing beings that are tormented until their Karma has achieved its full and satisfactory results. The beings can then be reborn into a higher plane. The Naraka are superficially similar to the Christian hell or purgatory, although there are many significant differences.
The most important ability this path possesses is the one of complete and total healing, in a way making it the most important path of them all, its second is its unbelievable strength. Because of this the user has a natural affinity for chakra flow control, able to master medical jutsu with ease.
Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique
With their rejuvenated bodies acting as an anchor, the individual souls are then able to leave the crossroad between life and the afterlife, returning back to their physical vessels. The jutsu targets all the individuals killed. There seems to be a limited time for when this technique can be used, those who have been dead for longer than a week in real time cannot be brought back. This technique requires a massive amount of chakra and when used the user will die from chakra overuse.
Solo Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique
This jutsu uses a part of the patient's body as a medium to heal their wounds. A large, square seal is drawn on the floor and the patient is placed at the center. As the Naraka path the user can do this technique alone and in only a matter of posts as opposed to the usual method

Preta Path  In Buddhism, the Preta realm (also known as the Hungry Ghost realm) is a reincarnation based on strong possessiveness and desire which were cultivated in a previous life or lives. The Preta are humanoid creatures which are perpetually hungry and thirsty, but are unable to sate themselves, living lives similar to those of hopeless addicts trying to appease their unyielding hunger. In appearance, the Preta are deathly pale, emaciated figures, which contrasts with Pain's Preta Path's hefty stature.
This path's "Chakra Absorption" ability was primarily defensive, since it was capable of absorbing any ninjutsu-related technique, thereby nullifying its effect. This technique could also take the form of a barrier around its body, allowing it to absorb attacks from all directions. In addition to its defensive properties, this body's ability had also shown offensive capabilities, as it could absorb all the chakra out of any person that it touched or grabbed.
This path has shown an affinity for the Storm release element, able to use its techniques without the need for the Kekkei Genkai. Because of this the user will be able to learn and use the Lighting element easier than others.
Blocking Technique Absorption Seal
A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any shape or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them.
Sealing Technique: Living Barrier
When using this technique, the user can seal their opponents' chakra.
Storm Release: Thunder Cloud Inner Wave
Hiruko uses Storm Release to generate a thick ring of thunderclouds and electricity around him, creating an offensive and defensive ward. He can then uses these clouds to fire powerful blasts of lightning at his enemies, and as an electrified perimeter; effectively preventing his enemies from getting close.
Storm Release Secret Technique: Demon Dragon Storm
This technique produces a massive thunder cloud that can infinitely absorb chakra to grow in size, strength and the chakra it receives will increase. He can apparently channel this absorbed energy into the earth, meaning it will lead to a bigger technique.
Storm Release: Laser Circus
The user creates several bright beams and shoots them at the enemy. A halo of bright energy spreads from the user's hands as this technique is activated. The beams are able to alter their direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The user can increase the number of missiles to a great amount to pin down an enemy.

Outer Path  The Outer Path is based on the King of Hell, Yama, the judge of the dead in the Buddhist religion. He decided if someone stayed dead or returned to the world of the living, and would choose how they would be reincarnated. It's believed that if you lie to him, he will rip out your tongue.
The Outer Path (外道, Gedō) is the seventh path of Pain, not included with the main Six Paths of Pain. It has control over Life and Death.
Outer Path: Soul Interrogation Technique
When implemented on a target, a serpent-like apparition of their life force energy, in the form of an enlarged tongue emerges from their mouth and is presented to the figure. The Outer Path then proceeds to pass its judgement on the victim. If they are lying (or refuse to answer the question), their life force energy is ripped out by its two hand-shaped tongues and consumed, leading to the victim's death. If the target is telling the truth, it lets go of the protrusion leaving the target alive but extremely exhausted.
Outer Path: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path
The user summons a statue to spew a dragon-like creature from its mouth, which removes the souls of any person it comes in contact with. The dragon-like creature moves slow and is easily avoided, when used this technique takes half remaining chakra and half health points.
