Aoe wandered into my life a while ago, and while watching out for him, I realized that I should mark his mile stones as well as I could. I recall when he first showed up at my door, and the shock I felt when he smiled at me. I knew then that I was not making any kind of mistake in taking this precious boy in.

He does have a few quirks I am trying hard to come to terms with. He is very very silent, trying to get him to really talk is like.. Hmm, I would say pulling teeth, but I think that would probably be easier. Its not to say that he doesn't talk, he does, but only when he wants to. I suppose he is happier being silent, and I wont take that away from him.

Then there is the need to hurt himself in strange ways. Its not like he is trying to kill himself or anything like that,, Its more like he has a strange fascination with his own blood. I would like to break him of that, but any time I try to stop him, he gets more sullen than usual and hides away.

I very much need to find someone to meet with and talk to about these traits to see if it is a normal thing amongst these children. Maybe a friend for him would help.
