Todd busied himself in the main room of the rocket hideout. He sat in a white armchair, leaning back with his boots resting on the table in front of him, whilst scrolling through the pictures on his camera and off in his own thoughts. Apparently he was supposed to be going on some sort of spy mission today, but the details were sketchy, so he figured he’d just sit there until someone chose to be more specific with him, or until he found something better to do.

On the floor next to the chair, a uniquely patterned Umbreon lay curled up, resting his head on his paws and opening his right eye whenever anyone walked past as if he was on watch and prepared to pounce at any second.

Todd absent-mindedly reached over the side of the chair to pet the Umbreon as he continued to look through the photos. Sighing to himself he looked up from his camera, then at his watch. Was something going to happen or would he have to go looking for someone to complain to?

Todd had gone back into the world of photographs when he was tapped. But instead of looking up at the person who so rudely interrupted him; his eyes merely drifted to the hand then back to his camera, “That is really not the best way to get my attention, so I suggest you taking a step back before the teeth laying at my feet get aggravated.”

Nazgul was sitting up now, one eye fixed on each of the twins, growling very softly, with claws digging into the floor as he watched their every move like a hawk.

Todd couldn’t help but smirk at the child’s voice as it snapped at him, and looked up from his camera as the boy walked away, “Well perhaps next time you might consider using words before you invade my personal space? I do have ears you know.”

Nazgul nodded once firmly, agreeing completely with his trainer and wanting nothing more then to bite a couple of teenagers on the behind for being so rude to him.

“So you going to tell me what you wanted or just stand there like a pair of identical deck chairs?” he placed his fingertips together (mr burns style) and raised an eyebrow, completely expecting some kind of nooby and childish question.

“Yes yes I heard you the first time. Blimey! Kids these days.” Todd rolled his eyes, “But to answer your question, no. I was given about as much information as I imagine someone of your rank did, and frankly that’s about as fair as tying the back legs of a stantler together and watching it try to run around.” he picked up his camera again to suggest he’d lost interest in talking to the twins, “I’m waiting here for further instructions and I suggest you do the same. Just don’t bother me anymore!” His tone changed from smart arsy to angry so fast that most people would probably think he was bipolar, but anyone who knew Todd personally knew that he pretty much only had three moods: smart arse, bored and angry… Unless of course he was in disguise. He was surprisingly gifted at acting.

Nazgul was laughing evilly on the inside, practically begging the twins to do just one thing to upset his trainer so that he’d be instructed to attack. But, he knew if he just waited patiently enough it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Marty could hear the bickering ten miles away, even if he tried not too. A usual scowl was plastered to his thin yet handsome face. A face that all girls should love...and yet they didn't. Especially Fay. But he had no time to think of her now, he was just handed the specifics of his next mission...and much to his dismay, he was partnered with two pokemonless noobs and a wannabe photographer and his a**l umbreon. "The people they put is with, Xera my darling."

Slinking at his side, in a very feline like manner, was Xera, Marty's nasty zangoose. Her hackles stood on end as her tail lashed furiously against the air. Her large two claws clicked at the ground with each step. A high pitched rumbling echoed in the depths of her throat.

"Shoosh, shoosh my love. Soon, very soon." he soothed the beast at his side. Pausing at the door to the building, Marty O'Conner took a moment to compose himself because he knew one of them was going to upset him somehow. After his self composure, he strolled through the door. His brick red short and slightly spiked hair matched his equally brick red eyes and tie nestled between the openings of a dark coal colored suite, laced with off white pin stripes. He looked every image of a very well to do and very important business man. "Alright, listen up." his voice rang.

His first glance was to Todd and then to the umbreon at his feet. They looked like they could be useful, but the twins....esh. With a roll of his eyes and a clear of his throat, he held up a small piece of paper. "Apparently... you lot are my partners. And I've got the info on our mission as well as the means of transportation so I guess that makes me the boss, don't it?" he said with a nasty smirk.

Xera let out a series of soft snickering like hisses as she sat up on her haunches and clicked her front talons against the ground.

Todd looked up from his camera once the word “boss” was uttered, placing it in his lap and sitting up since finally it seemed like something constructive was happening. “Boss eh?” he could practically hear the frustration welling up in his umbreon at the thought of some stranger being in change, but he really had no problem with it himself, so long as this guy wasn’t about to treat him like some kind of slave, “Alright then. So what’s the story? Boss.” He added the last word in more as a joke then anything else but if the guy wanted to be leader then that’s what he was going to call him.

Nazgul was too busy eyeing the Zangoose. They had met once before and whilst he hadn’t formed an opinion of her yet he was almost certain that he didn’t like her.
