Caprice was pissed. When a flyer said "Free eggs to all!" he assumed he would be eating them, not rolling them in glitter! He looked down at his hands, arms, legs...hell, by this point he was probably covered in glitter, better known as the herpes of crafting supplies.
The young hybrid leaned back in his aluminum folding chair far enough to pop his back. With a sigh, he hung his arms down limply at his sides, well aware that his wings were blocking the walkway behind him. Who cared, anyway? It was a community center rec. hall, for crying out loud! They wouldn't notice if he just laid there for a while.
And then it hit him. If they didn't notice him, they they wouldn't notice if he stole an egg or two. Caprice shot back up in his seat with a grin, shiftily lookin from side to side before stuffing glittered eggs in his pockets.

What precisely was Easter for, anyway? What exactly did it celebrate? Could it perhaps be the day that a crucified savior miraculously rose from the dead in a certain religion? Maybe. To most children, Easter held little more value than a chance to decorate eggs and eat much candy. The latter of these two values was what was on Finnigan's mind as he and his guardian set out on their grand escapade to the community center for a little egg-coloring fun.
Finnigan's eyes darted around the large hall nervously as he entered hand-in-hand with Belinda, who looked down at her son kindly. "Now, Finn, why don't you go and color some eggs over there? See if you can make some new friends!" The young Latios-Eilian looked up to his mother with wide eyes, seeming near on the verge of tears. After a moment, he nodded slowly and reluctantly released Belinda's hand, stumbling a bit as he wandered off to find some egg victims to torture.
He quietly sidled up to one of the tables, taking a smaller chair for himself next to a much bigger kid than he. Trying not to take much notice of the bigger kid so that he wouldn't be noticed and bullied, Finnigan kept his eyes away from his neighbors and focused on the egg decorating at hand. One particular egg that had already been decorated caught the toddler's eye, and he tentatively reached his hand out to grab it. Suddenly, though, the egg disappeared from sight. Curious and slightly frightened, Finn looked about for the missing egg until he caught a glimpse of the glitter shining in the artificial light before vanishing into the pocket of the bigger kid next to him. The Latios was aghast, and he plucked up all of the courage he could to call the bigger kid out on his felony.
"H-hey, why'dja take that eggy? Yoo shoodn't steal stuff like dat. Dat's bad."
