That's actually really exciting! I'll have to look into finding that. Thanks for sharing.

Now if only there were some good side-by-side translations of the Eddas.

MORE INTERESTING THINGS

Amazon actually showed me a recommendation that looks interesting! This book, True Hearth, is apparently by a member of the Troth and quite good. Can't view inside, though.

There's also Masks of Odin back in print, which was recommended to me yeeeears ago by an old badger of a Heathen. I'm unsure, though, whether or not it's a decent read. I've heard some bad things about it too in recent years. Has anyone read it?

I've heard of True Hearth. it's been in my wishlist for ages. someone else also wrote a companion book for it called True Helm.

As to Masks of Odin, I've never read it myself but had a similar experience of having it recommended to me by an old trooper Heathen a few years back.

True Hearth is the next book I am getting when I go on a book buying spree. It's been on my list for ages. As for masks of Odin I have skimmed it and it looked like something to read, but like any book be prepared to take it with a grain of salt.

Celtic-oriented types may like this one. Turned up while I was browsing. I like the idea of Pagan inspirational poetry as we don't seem to get much of it compared to Christians.
