I would say if you havent read any of the books then it would be good. But if you have then it did a poor job.

I agree with Odusi.
It was a fun movie, but if you were expecting something exactly like the book then you were most likely disappointed.

Yes I know what you mean, and you're completely right. The reason why I gave this film such a bad review was mostly because of disappointment. I also stated that in my review.
