theStory_Untold Silver Sage-General I luv power metal bands like Dragonforce and Kamelot. As for Spongebob, there are far worse shows on Cartoon Network. Nick's actually still doing well compared to them. And he's played parts of 4, 6, and 7. l-o-v-e, I have heard from Alie that everyone in this guild during her time was perfectly capable of proper linguistics. In my opinion text talk is not an appropriate way to communicate. I admit Adventure Time and Flapjack are some of the worst shows in Cartoon Network history but I have three words to counter your argument about Nick: Fanboy and Chumchum The 90's were the prime of Nickelodeon. 2000-2003 it started to go a bit down hill with more live action shows than cartoons and when they get back to their cartoons. They suck, badly. Nickelodeon now has three different channels for one company: Nick Jr. Nicktoons, and Nick. It's not even Nickelodeon anymore. What happened to Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, Avatar the Last Airbender, and Invader Zim? Re-runs on Nicktoons. What happened to Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Aah, Real Monsters and all the beloved shows of Children of the 90's? Taken off the air completely and replaced with bucket-loads of elephant excrement. *shrugs* I like being different and you have very bad intel. XD Most of the people here use lots of slang. As to the toons, I actually like fanboy and chumchum.

Slang is different from text talk... text talk is a useless way to shorten words and has impacted society so much that most people can no longer remember proper linguistics. It's sad. There are no words to describe just how awful that show is. It has no real plot and The few clips of it I've seen has melted my brain matter and I believe my IQ dropped significantly from watching just one episode.

And most shows made for comedy don't need a plot.

Sine Auctore aamiller321 Who would want the power rangers to save their city anyway? They always end up pulling out their own giant robot to destroy the enemy giant robot, and leveling half the city anyway. Dura Lex Sed Lex...
Wait, what's a city - I live in Spokane.
LUCKY ME, THERE'S NOTHING HERE! HAHA!
...The Law is Harsh, but the Law will Prevail

There are no words to describe just how awful that show is. A few things, in direction of this whole argument: 1) He knows who Alie is, and was in this guild. He was here himself until February of last year. 2) Nickelodeon split up the channels so kids could have something to watch, teens could have something to watch, and they even have a channel where, occasionally, the older shows will come on... The reason the older shows don't come on anymore is because the newer shows have to be played, or no one gets paid... There's only so far a storyline can go before it gets boring. 3) Not everyone in the guild back then used proper grammar. Yes, a lot of us DID use it, but not everyone. In fact, I can spell off a few KEY oldies who talk in shortened hand.

The Monochrome Lord He's probably going to have a job at 12 and pay for your a** like your mom does. xD This ^ xp I'm guessing he's 6ish now, but that stuff sounds like what a usual 12-15 year old does. With all of these new technologies, gadgets and gizmos, kids are jumping into things so much earlier now. The majority of us were born when they were being created, but the majority of them are being born when the umpteenth version/update is coming out. *I'm not going as far back as the tv and such sweatdrop I'm just talking about things like the WII, X-BOX 360, PS3 and the like.
