As she swam the depths of the ocean, the deeper she went into what was very likely one of the deepest trenches in the ocean, she could feel the pressure working against her, the depths weren't exactly ideal for most living creatures, it was no different for the mermaid princess who would struggle the hole way as she descended into the dark abyss.Not everyone was just going to sit by and wait for Selene to come and not be as prepared as they could have been. There was something she knew of down at the very depths of the ocean that could very well be a key to their survival in the coming battle, at least, it would be of extreme help. It may not save the world, but it could help everyone in their last moments, to keep fighting with renewed energy and healed wounds. The Mystic Sea Rose was possibly one of the most powerful, and incredible plants to exist, and it only existed in the deepest parts of the ocean that her kingdom new of. It was a gamble, for sure. This was a whole different world, she had no guarantee it would be there, but she knew she had to try.
It was several hours since she left Marvel City, which she decided to keep quiet. There was no reason to worry anyone, and to anyone, and even Alisa, they would just guess she went back to spend her required time at sea. Not a soul but herself knew of the existence of the magical rose of the sea, it was a well kept secret between the kingdom, due to just how dangerous it could become if anyone ever found out about it. Though it was almost impossible to get to even for a mermaid, so it was highly unlikely anyone would ever find the rose's. One could guess with so much power, evil might want it for their own if they wanted to survive anything. It could bring life to the lifeless, heal the sick and wounded, and even return every bit of their energy. It was truly a miracle what this rose could do. And she was going to get it, as many as she could to ensure everyone had some for the battle..
Thirty-five thousand seven hundred and fifty six feet later...The highly exhausted mermaid would manage to reach the terrifying depths she so hoped to reach..alive, It wasn't over yet, far from it, she still had to find the strength to continue on at these depths that were crushing her entire body. How much her body could actually endure was the thing to worry about now, avoiding the boiling hot sea vents on the oceans floor was just another obstacle she had to get through as she searched through the eerie darkness.
