Not even kidding.

So, my school's drama department did a production of Godspell, which ususally has a barebones score of simply a rhythm section. However, we wrote our own horn parts to add on to it, and it was pretty awesome.

Second night of the show, bows just finished, so we decide to vamp "Light of the World," a funk piece. I was playing bassoon on this, and as we go to finish, I lose feeling in my limbs, and start to lose consciousness.

Many muscle spasms, an ambulence ride, and a stay in the ER later, I recovered.

Should I even mention one of our baritone players had a siezure in Wind Symphony literally the week before?

Is my band cursed (or something rediculous like that), the musical gods are smiting us for rewriting Godspell's music and adding in funk bassoon, or are there legitimate medical reasons for these occurances? D:
