My friend, (Saika) that lives over in Japan, has died in the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on 10/3/11! crying
I called her a number of times and she didn't reply. I wasn't really expecting her to as her home might have been destroyed, etc. but then, I got a phone call from her Dad yesterday telling me she and her little brother had died. (Well, she was reported "missing"...but its been a while and if she hasn't been found yet, she is most likely dead. sad )
I just wanted to post this here in honor of her memory and, even though you guys didn't know her...(probably ninja ) I hope you can pray for her tonight. Obviously, I don't expect you to, I just think it would be nice...you know?
I didn't really think much of the earthquake and tsunami that happened in Japan. I know that sounds terrible, but it's true. It didn't really effect me personally, you know? So, I guess...I couldn't really understand the pain and suffering people were going through over there. Now, I can understand.
So, if you have lost someone (hopefully you haven't) I'd like to know...I don't know why...I just do.
ご冥福を祈ります。
(The above means "We pray for your happiness in the next world" as the Japanese don't have the phrase "Rest In Peace".)
Saika would be proud I wrote some Japanese. She taught me how to write all the different characters in all the different styles and I could never quite get some of them right! xp It's easier on a computer! x
I love you, Saika! heart

I have never lost a friend to death, not yet, at least. I'm very sorry, and I don't know what I would do if certain friends of mine died. But have hope. As long as it doesn't say dead, that doesn't mean she can't be alive. So hope she is alive somewhere out there.
