Pika flew back, but twirled around in the air and managed to land on her feet. "Pikaaaa!" she answered to her new Trainer, ears flicking.

Pika nodded. She looked back at the Mudkip and charged up. "Pikkaaaaaachuuu!" She fired a bolt of lightning at it.

The Mudkip was hit dead on by the lightning bolt, fainting quickly. The trainer in blue returned it to its Poke' Ball, then walked off. Kyle flashed a smile at his Pokemon partner. "Way to go, Pika!" He congratulated.

Kyle smiled, walking over and picking up the Pikachu, placing her on his shoulder. "Let's get going." He said, continuing onward.
(so...how long until the big reveal? Bring on the awkward! XD)

Several minutes later, Kyle and Pika reached the gate to the next town. He smiled widely, eager to get something to eat. Plus, he heard there was a Gym in this town. Getting his third badge was a must!

Kyle walked into the large, bustling town, and stopped at a restaurant to get himself a meal. After this, he went to the pokemon center to heal up his team before his gym battle. He handed over his five poke balls, then gently picked Pika off of his shoulder. The nurse smiled and took the poke balls and Pika. "This won't take any time at all." She told him.
