Okay, I'm thinking about having Tora return to the Tiger tavern ASAP and drop her position as soul reaper and just be a bar tender. If I do this could I make another person to take her place and apply for Captain of squad four; or should I just have Kitsune run for it instead?
I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that there is no captain for the squad and healers having non-healing abilities. It would mainly be temporary unless I actually do a good job and enjoy being a captain for the squad.

Well from what I've seen no squad actually sticks to what their meant to specialize with, everyone just want's to be the strongest and have no weakness (but that's common for a human being).
I doubt this rule is gonna be enforced either simply because if it is, then everyone's gonna be going for one or two different squads, with the occasional person going for something else.

Yes'am.
@ Ichigo that makes sense but if you want to join a squad have it set up that it matchs what the squad does not what the person wants.
Tora can not heal anyone, but for orignality she was with a squad four that was set for bashing people's skulls in. now that that one is gone she kinda has no use, save for watching over Kitsune.
